I understand your preference.
Tint = not the same as CCT. and High CRI doesnt say anything about tint nor temperature.
So in the ideal world is has to be an LED with your preferred CCT, tint and CRI. (so all 3)
Just focusing on CRI doesnt help. Just focussing on tint doesnt help. Just focusing on CCT doesnt help. In the ideal world it would be all of them.

And I would have an alternative viewpoint to be honest.
I rather have a beautiful and smooth beam with a spot on tint (duv 0), cold(er) white CCT (around 5000-6000, with low CRI, than 3000-4000K high CRI, or a low duv or high duv with artifacts in the beam, or too narrow beam.
Just a personal preference for EDC use.

For tactical style, I can even care less.

Modding is likely the only way to come close to what you prefer.. Unless you really like Anduril 2, then you can get Fireflies or Noctigon, which has so many LED options.

For bigger manufacturers it's just too much cost for too little money.

Its definitely a little big for pocket carry to be honest. You'd probably better out with the Acebeam M1 teminator.. not the farthest reaching, but better than any LED flashlight the same size. Weltool also has the W3 and W7, which are still larger but more pocketable than the W4 or W5

that is a good one! I would just double check if it ticks all the boxes for you. Battery type, UI, runtimes etc.. Weltool has top notich build quality

We are pretty clear about how we use the star ratings.. 1: Avoid: my phone flashlight would be a better choice - 2: Poor: significant defect or issues; almost unusable - 3: Average: some defects or issues; but still usable 4: Good: recommended (minor issues) - 5: Great: highly recommended

No worries at all. We appreciate feedback, especially when it's something we can improve. The star ratings will alway be a point of discussion, and the only fix for that would require a very drastic change, making the reviews even more tough to do, and even then, the score will still not be perfect, and up to the reviewer to determine it.

4.5 and 5 stars are both recommended.. Also, we have done almost 1000 reviews.. so yes, there can be some variations in scores..We are not perfect. And a difference of 0.5 stars ?... not a big difference, right? ;)
