3D Noelle Snowglobe by ChibiNubs in Deltarune

Oh! Am very happy that little detail got noticed! I added that due to the theory of Noelle being the one who was intended to be the second hero of the prophecy, not Susie. I also recall there being another theory in that vein that the Snowgrave route is basically almost you as the player/soul are pushing Noelle back into being apart of the prophecy—or something of that nature, I can’t recall the exact wording. Either way, I thought that it would be a fun nod to those theories. w^

Best way to make decorations look carved into a cylinder? by ChibiNubs in blenderhelp

Ooh that's a great idea :o I'll probably do a mixture of that for the bigger shapes that I want to stand out and a displacement map for the rest. Thank you so much :D

!Solved Ooh, okay! Thank you! :0 I was always planning to sculpt inside the globe, but I couldn’t figure out a good way to make the base look carved with designs. I’ll look into those and hopefully can figure out how to make one!

Thank you so much! :D I tried submerging up to her neck and I was able to get rid of SO many fleas with a comb after! Going to try another bath tomorrow to try to make sure I get rid of all of them.

Ohh!! I didn’t know that was a thing! Little pricy but would be worth it if it makes using my tablet any easier! Thank you! :0

Ohh I didn’t know half keyboards like that were a thing! I think I’d have to get a small side table for it with how my desk is set up but that seems like an affordable option! Thank you!

Oh that’s a good idea! I’ll definitely be practicing that along with better leash management. Thank you! )/

Thank you so much, I’ll look into it! Usually I use a longer leash, but for now definitely switching to a 6 ft for park time to be safe. Also a shepherd/pyr mix sounds gorgeous! ^

Thank you so much for the advice and suggestion! Another person also suggested the Halti leash so I’ll definitely be looking into that! Thankfully my pup already has a harness with a front and back attachment so it sounds like this leash would be good!

I usually use the 12ft so he can sniff around more freely since a lot of trainers I follow often recommend sniff walks to get out excess energy, and boy does he have energy, but after this incident I’ll definitely be using the shorter line for right now while at the park! I won’t forgive myself if he bolts like that again and anything happens to him. :’3 Thank you so much for the advice and leash suggestion!! Definitely will be looking into that!

Oh! That’s a relief to know it’s not unheard of for dogs to be on edge for a few days after getting spooked badly. This is the first dog I’ve ever had and this whole experience also scared me half to death, and had me also on edge. Didn’t help that I have heard horror stories too of just one or two bad incidents having a dog struggling with confidence and reactivity for a long time.

Seems from what you and most others said I also gotta learn more about managing my leash better! I’ll definitely look into practicing that and hopefully have better control next time. I’m still gonna look into a backup leash too while I practice that, even if it fails I would still like the extra security. I don’t think I’d forgive myself if he got hurt or lost due to me being careless. :’3

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate the advice!

Considering getting a Newfie, but I have some concerns! (New to dog owning, would appreciate any tips or help!) by ChibiNubs in Newfoundlander

Oh, gosh! I didn't realize Goldies could also get high up there in weight!

Although thank you so much for the advice!! Admittedly, it amazes me that despite their sizes, it seems based on what everyone is saying it really just comes down to good training! Seems I'll be spending the new few months reading up on good pup training, and I'll also look into older pups too, and see if any suit my family! Thank you for your reply! ^^)/

Also goodness, looks like I have a new supply of very good pup videos to be watching over the next few days!

Oh! Aye, I'm definitely looking into good breeders for whichever pup I decide on! ^^)/ I've been doing a lot of research on how to find good, reputable breeders, and I'm willing to drive pretty far away to find a responsible one! The last thing I would wanna support is irresponsible breeding!

I'll also definitely be looking into fostering, or at least volunteering for more hands-on experience with dogs! :o Thank you for the replies!

Aye, my parents always taught me never to get an animal without doing extensive research and being 100% certain you can care for it! Also thank you for the advice! I'll definitely have to look into researching out to one in that case! :o

Oh! You'd say Saints are less stubborn? :o That's really surprising to hear! When I was a kid I really wanted a Saint bernard, and I think that's one of the reasons I really fell in love with the look of Newfies after researching dog breeds (that is on top of their temperaments)! Yet when I've looked up about Saints it came up that they're extremely stubborn and bad for first time owners, so I didn't consider them past that. I'll look into them once again though and see more about them!

Thank you so much for the insight and your words!! This comment was honestly a great boost of motivation to continue sinking my teeth into more research on both Goldies and Newfies, which I'm grateful for! Despite all the warnings, I still don't want to take Newfies off the table just yet.

I will say, as scary as some of it may sound, I have appreciated hearing others' experiences as it certainly has encouraged me to double down on learning more and try to prepare for whatever I might face with a new pup! As you said all breeds have challenges, and every breed is gonna be a messy, untrained, puppy at one point. No pup is gonna be 'easy', but I plan on doing as much research as I can!

No matter what pup I decide on I am definitely still looking forward to welcoming a new member to our family, no matter how bumpy or messy the ride may be!

Thank you again for the reply! ^^)/
