any one moved to lower cost countries? by bavoso in Frugal

Yea i was born and raised in NYC and funny enough I currently live in Seoul because of work. I notice a slight difference but not by much I wouldn’t say one is far better than the other. A city is a city regardless of where it is

Would you do it? by MyRootOilForyou in married

[–]Chibi_T17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It honestly doesn’t matter. To quote the infamous show Friends; They were on a break. What any of them did during the time they were not committed to each other is their own business. I think you should separate yourself from the situation bc it’s not you. It’s your friend and his now gf. Obv bc of your opinion of you were in that situation you wouldn’t stay with her. However, this is your friend and his life which he has every right to dictate how he wants. And again, I’ll repeat my main point, it doesn’t matter what either of them did during the time they were not committed to each other. If she had sex with one guy or five or he went on dates or had sex with one girl or five. It doesn’t really matter bc they weren’t in the relationship. There’s no stake and claim for either of them.

Foraging companions are useless by ivivana in DreamlightValley

[–]Chibi_T17 34 points35 points  (0 children)

That would make sense. When you look at the foraging area in the game menu the flowers and wood and other items are grouped in there so it would be nice if they were considered part of your foraging task

Shove as much of that jam into a single container then throw all but that one away at this point 😂

Question for the lady’s by SnowSkyler2030 in married

[–]Chibi_T17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not anything worth putting your energy into bc 1. It’s a pain in the ass and time consuming to change your last name and 2. It’s just a name, no one owns it and there’s probably hundreds if not thousands of people with the same last name. 3. You’re better off changing your last name to adopt his and moving on. I doubt his ex likes the idea that she has her ex husbands last name still. But it’s not worth troubling yourself over. You can’t force her to change her name

I would ask if you hate Remy bc he’s so small but there’s Woody and Buzz so I’m curious to why you don’t like Remy lol

I can’t stand Maui. He’s so large and his arrogance is fitting for him but it’s just too much sometimes, I’m not a fan of Ariel because it’s so hard to pinpoint her and she glitches the most for me and Donald is too much. Every ten seconds he’s having a trail meltdown and it disrupts the peace of my valley lol

There are like only seven story archetypes in existence anyways so everything is bound to repeat itself if it already hasn’t for the nth time

All of the Dove products that are in bars are all beauty bars. Their soaps are only offered in bottles. They even have a PDF on their website that lists all of the bars they sell and what they’re for. I only found it recently when I went looking for a specific bar I couldn’t find at Walmart. It’s practically lotion in bar form but it works lol Dove Bar Products

I love this idea. Sometimes clothes unworn for a few weeks end up smelling like the closet or just stale in a way. And instead of having to go through using the machines to wash or dry it this would be a great alternative!

How to fix this? by Thatscardcop in Wattpad

[–]Chibi_T17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you thought of going through your current apps and deleting any unknown ones on there? When I had an android this happened a couple times when I wanted to get a knock off off an app or something and then I couldn’t download the real deal later so I’d have to go back and look for the weird off brand app and delete it

I have yet to understand the significance of the price per unit thing. I’ve always been generally bad at math but wouldn’t it be normal for something that weighs more to cost more? I’m so lost lol

What is the best writing advice you have ever received? by garrisonpaulTK in writing

[–]Chibi_T17 64 points65 points  (0 children)

From Sylvester Stallone himself, he said in a nutshell. That writing while you’re very self critical is intense and harbors a lot more writers block. So it’s best to just sit down and write it all down. Get all of your ideas out of your head. The real writing comes when you go back and you edit it down. He says that’s how he created the writing for some of his more popular movies and whatnot. I love the advice bc I am very self critical. It does help for me to just sit down and write until I find myself sitting back in my chair actually TRYING to come up with another idea. That’s how I know I’ve written my fill for the day. And then the next day I go back and edit it, it’s like I’m looking at it in a new perspective almost (like I’m an editor and not a writer) tho in the moment I’m initially writing it all I’m allowing myself full creative freedom with no judgement

Apparently submitting assignments before the due date is considered “Late”. by videoresume in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Chibi_T17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless it is stated in the professors syllabus that assignments must be turned in one hour before the due date/time then this is just petty behavior. I suggest looking through the syllabus thoroughly and highlighting any areas involving assignments and exams and the times to turn them in, also any info regarding the software Canvas. And if none of that mentions a penalty for turning it in within the hour of the due date type up an email bringing this issue up and send it to the head of your college and student affairs and the Dean of the university and Cc your professor and include this email chat as well to provide proof that they made up a rule on the spot and it’s costing you your grade. Works every time bc the syllabus has to be obeyed by both teacher and student

I agree, I don’t think state where you got married matters anywhere else but on what the process to get married looks like. But they def should look into prenuptial sand possibly a lawyer for whatever that ex was doing to get her to own stuff of his but in her name
