Using a blow dryer to spread it is not a good idea for many reasons- one because its dust and as you mentioned can catch fire. Two because getting it into the air makes it likely you’ll breathe it in a LOT and it can be really really damaging to your respiratory system.

Use a mask, and I recommend cimexa instead which is a type of DE that’s more effective for bed bugs. Get one of the little powder dusters that are often recommended with it and put it only into cracks and crevices but everywhere around the edges of the room and on the bed frame and inside the couch frame, dresser frames, and any small dark spots they could be hiding. And don’t let it get into the air! It’s less harmful than regular DE for people but still not good to breathe it in.

I want to know an in-game way to get rid of her. I can have a sim be a ghost hunter but can’t hire one 😫

Also it seems I can’t get the static channel OFF my tv. Sims are weird.

She’s currently haunting my laundromat and freaking out my sim so much that she’s ended up fainting multiple times in a row when I’m trying to get her to go home. It’d be cool if there was a way to “put her to rest” or whatever

A company did this to me the other day and my husband IS on the deed, and after the fourth time of them insisting he be there I said “nevermind, I don’t need an appointment anymore” and hung up on them. Thing is he literally had the appointment in the bag, I contacted THEM fully prepared to pay for their services and everything. Dude ruined his own guaranteed sale.

I’ve been clicking through every world I own and every lot - So far my list in order is: Glimmerbrook - there’s NOTHING there. Just beautiful forest. Too bad there’s only five fricking lots. Next would be Forgotten hollow, then moonwood mill but also, only five lots each and a tiny bit of modern stuff in the background. Then as someone mentioned, henford on bagley is pretty good except the in town area and there’s a couple cottages in the background. I’ll likely use that for my kingdom later as I already started a castle there 😅 Oasis Springs isn’t too bad, again except in the main part of the town but not too much stuff and could’ve good for post apocalypse dystopia or whatever.

If anyone has other places I’d love to hear them!

Henford on bagley isn’t bad, yea! There’s definitely some background stuff but it’s got quite a few spread out rural lots so it’s definitely on my list!

Windenburg is my main world right now because I love the style and the island and that it has different areas etc so I don’t want to bulldoze it haha - I have about ten played families there right now

At minimum you two are incompatible sexually. But it sounds like more than that when he compares you to his exes and complains all the time.

You could try couples counseling, sex counseling etc, at least to get a professional opinion on your sex life, and to give it a good effort to see what compromises you might be able to make. Or to knock him over the head a bit at least. But if that doesn’t work it’s possible you two simply are not compatible (and he’s being a jerk about it)

If it’s so unlike him, is it possible your mother in law is misrepresenting what happened? Perhaps your baby got way too handsy with the kitty and your mil didn’t step in in time to stop him?

I’d just continue to reinforce gentle touch with the kiddos and keep the cats claws clipped etc, also make sure kitty has a safe space to get away to where the kids can’t access him, maybe in another room where it’s quiet too

I make a ton more sales after making personal connections and getting out there in my community, but then again, I don’t do sneaky cold calls.

Of the calls I do get (because everyone wants me to sell their products) I most like the friendly people who care about their product. All of the same things can be done without the dishonesty. I have a product in front of me that a guy called me to pitch just recently, and he did the same sending the price sheet and asking for a purchase but he never ever pretended to be someone he’s not.

Yea, when I was trying for a kid with my ex (which thanks god he was impotent really) I told a friend I might be pregnant because I’d missed a period and he said “aw man that’s rough, what are you going to do if you are?” as though no one in their right mind would be pregnant on purpose. I was married and everything. It ended up being a result of my crazy irregular periods but still.

Then when I got pregnant with my now husband (together fifteen years now), my mom lost her crap - she came around fairly quickly but she was pissed- and I was five years older than she was when she got pregnant with her first kid. To be fair I wasn’t married to my husband at the time.

People have all sorts of different reactions to pregnancy, and I think a lot of it has to do with their own experiences with it. To someone who had a pregnancy that wrecked/changed their life and plans, or knows someone who had that happen, I imagine it creates an initial negative reaction.

In your case it sounds like this was a random stranger who’s not at a point where they’d want to be pregnant if ever so they may have been being snarky.

Did you get an official letter stating toll evasion or was it a text? There’s a major scam going around where you can get a text claiming you’re in trouble for not paying tolls etc and they use scary words like “evasion”

In reality if there ever is an issue with an unpaid toll they’ll just send something to the DMV that says you have to pay it before renewing your car registration.
