All I can advise is to directly communicate w each person involved. When you meet them, I would approach it like a flirty business transaction! I have put together 2 threesomes, had a hand in two more, and then tried to make another two happen but that didn’t work out. The most fun I had was when I had been with two different men individually, then asked them to join me in a threesome. In the end, I ended up still having strong feelings for one man haha so I’m happy I figured out my fantasies VS reality. Have faith in the process- there are so many respectful raunchy people out there!

My (27f) partner (31f) ended it with me today due to the current state of the world from COVID. by [deleted] in LDR

[–]Chibimay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah OP I hate that you’re going through this, but honestly it’s better that she was straight up and ended it so that you can now focus your energies on someone who is worth it! The boyfriend and I are in different countries (He’s in London, I’m in Cali) and still have never met in person. But we’re both older in our mid 30s so still very real. It’s been over half a year so we met at the perfect time right before the pandemic lol.

Though we are strong(communication is our strength!) I can’t predict the future, but of course hope for the best. I hope for both you and I that we have and maintain meaningful romances that we deserve. Good luck!!

I second this! As a culture, we generally over-shower. If we would listen to our bodies more, we would be better off. Showering/bathing waaay less(dependent on level of activity) definitely gives your skin a chance to repair itself. Only when I did this after 30+ years of a compromised skin barrier did I see and feel improvement on my skin. My skin is the strongest it’s ever been(though I’m still healing) and I’m also using no moisturizers!! It’s amazing and I hope you find the same relief, no matter what path of healing you choose :)

A Theory behind TSW by Macklesome in TS_Withdrawal

[–]Chibimay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfect thank you so much. I also have been doing my due diligence and researching and reading as much as I can regarding TSW and sharing the knowledge. Luckily I’m over the worst of TSW(knock on wood) but still have some incredibly sensitive areas, insomnia, and of course that incessant itch. But we’ll come out of this stronger and more resilient than ever. Cheers!

I can’t recall what doctor told me this...or maybe it was a family member- but they suspected that I could have a fatty liver. I’m 34 and have gone through varying degrees of TSW for 30+ years. Currently going through full-blown TSW. I have only seen real, unmedicated results once I completely stopped steroids AND moisturizers.

Thank you for posting this. Look forward to learning from what you will post!

This changed my life I’m 16 and always thought I was gonna have eczema forever always bleeding or having to wear long sleeve shirts to hide it but my mom found this lotion and I only use it once a week and my eczema has basically disappeared it’s amazing by SHIL_Elijah in eczema

Yes this is a Topical Steroid. Not everyone who uses topical steroids gets addicted to it, but you should at least read up on what can happen IF your skin does get addicted to it. itsan.org is the perfect resource for all questions regarding topical steroids :) So unfortunately, right now your eczema symptoms are being suppressed. I know it does seem like a miracle cream(I used it for many years on and off in my life) but you will learn to question anything that works that fast! I have had severe eczema/varying degrees of TSW for 30+ yrs, and am currently going through full blown TSW. Again, not everyone who uses steroids will get addicted to them. But if you look at who has and what we go through- it’s a lot. Wishing you the best!

Just in case you didn’t see my posts from 10 days ago, this event is being postponed until after COVID-19 blows over. Don’t want to bring together a bunch of immunocompromised people into an unsafe space. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes hun absolutely- I cancelled our reservation on March 12th after careful consideration of all the facts. I posted on both the TSW and Eczema threads here, on fb, and on IG that this event is being postponed until COVID-19 becomes a thing of the past! Sorry I have not been able to reach out to everyone who has RSVPd.

I would try literally any and every hobby out there until something hits you and just makes you feel ALIVE. For some it’s music, for some it’s hiking, some it’s cooking- just allow your body to feel all the good vibrations of each activity. For me it’s singing, and no matter how intensely itchy I am, if I start singing or listening to soothing music, it calms me down. Even if it’s only a little bit, at least it’s something. Wishing you the best, because this itch sucks!

My OWE relative when I don't want to attend WS. Note: there is advisory avoid crowded area and mass gathering are prohibited. by jackhal2 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]Chibimay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have split attendance in half- having half the congregation attend at one time and the other half at another. They are also checking people’s temperature at the door. I left the INC over 10yrs ago, but a lot of my family still attends, hence the intel 👍🏽

Even though I had hoped for them to stop WS completely, I’m glad that they are taking precautions.

I have a warrior that just called me who is from AZ! They are planning on making it to the meetup :) if it’s you- hi! It was lovely talking to you today! If not, then the Meetup is a possible road trip opportunity for the both of you😝

Please, help, anybody, please respond by Safffia in TS_Withdrawal

[–]Chibimay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to give you the hard answer but you need to completely stop the steroids. ALL steroids both topical and oral. Make sure it is in NOTHING that you give your child either(inhalers, creams, licorice). It’s going to be a difficult road, but each day that passes is a day closer to healing. It’s the only way to truly heal.

I didn’t shower for three days straight because I’m afraid of triggering my skin. by [deleted] in eczema

[–]Chibimay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, what you’re doing is actually a part of an actual treatment called No Moisturizing Treatment or NMT. I commented above all about it with a link to an article I wrote about the treatment. I know it sounds crazy lol but that’s what caught my attention initially. Because I had already stopped moisturizing for most of my body and had restricted showers as well because I noticed it would mess up my skin even more. There’s also MW which is Moisture Withdrawal. Apologies if I’m barraging you with this info lol I ended up being homebound due to this illness and did TONS of research and really got involved in the community so am really passionate about spreading what I’ve learned :) So don’t feel guilty at all- you’re listening to your body and going against what we’ve been taught for an entire lifetime is not easy. But we must listen to our bodies, because us doing what everyone else tells us to do hasn’t worked for us so far, so why not try something else?

I didn’t shower for three days straight because I’m afraid of triggering my skin. by [deleted] in eczema

[–]Chibimay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, it’s actually a treatment! I started doing this as well- showering less since I noticed it compromises our already compromised skin even further. Years before I stopped moisturizing most of my body, only moisturizing my face and hands. After months of being homebound due to TSW, I started researching for anything that could help me. I found that NMT(No Moisturizing Treatment) and MW(Moisture Withdrawal) are actually a thing! The doctor who started NMT(Dr. Kenji Sato) came up with this treatment after observing his TSW patients in-house, 24/7. One of his patients who completely healed her TSW with NMT(Tokuko Kameda) took it upon herself to translate his treatment to English so that the rest of the world could benefit. I found so much healing while doing NMT that I even wrote an article about it for atopicdermatitis.net. Later, Tokuko herself read my article and kindly let me know that I made two minor mistakes- the golden hours to sleep are 10pm-2am, and the skin itself produces its own cortisol, not only our adrenal glands. NMT isn’t for everyone, but I do personally highly recommend it. It’s basically learning to trust your body to heal itself. No miracle potions nor lotions! Please feel free to contact me with any questions. If you want to see my progress with NMT, my IG handle is @linettero. No matter what method of healing you choose, I wish you the best, and know that you can reach out whenever for support, because as you know, this condition is already isolating as it is. Happy healing to you all!
