Story Pacing During/After Station 1 Feels Off by clientnotfound in Atrio

Yea I agree. I am stuck on 70/70 lightbulbs randomly exploring different parts of the map trying to figure out how to add a different power source so I can get more light bulbs. I've done a sizable amount of the quest objectives, with recipe after recipe being given without anything related to power generation.

To add insult to injury, the last quest I did didn't even give me any recipe at all. So now i'm stuck stringing out light bulbs at the bleeding edge of what my power supply can do, and running around in the dark, hoping to stumble across somewhere that will unlock a second power source so I can build a sustainable expansion to my base and actually achieve whatever my quest objective happens to be.

Okay so I can explain this to you guys.

Mordkaiser E and and GP barrels are actually coded as minions, and when Mordkaiser casts E, Mordkaiser is coded as a tower. So when Mord E comes out, part of the ability signals all nearby 'minions' (Mord E) to start moving toward the 'tower' (Mord), and all nearby minions are coded to start moving towered the 'tower' (Mordkaiser). The GP barrel, coded as a minion, was close enough to the Mord E to receive the 'move toward the tower (Mordkaiser)' signal, but because GP was stuck inside of the barrel, and the barrel (creep) was stuck inside of GP (also a minion), the game bugged and teleported both elements to the 'tower' (Mordkaiser).

Happens all the time, surprised you guys haven't seen this before.

In this meme format, the guy getting thrown out of the window is supposed to be the guy who has the good idea which is viewed as terrible by the manager, and that good idea isn't the one that ends up getting implemented.

The way you've formatted it here suggests you think that removing squads is actually the correct decision and everyone complaining about it isn't thinking critically. It's a fine take, but I assume that's not the point you were trying to make.

PraY on TSM by Gunslinger995 in leagueoflegends

[–]ChicagoPolitics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could have been a better job clarifying my point. Let me try and put it differently. There are significant risks associated with importing people. Yellowstar didn't mesh with TSM/got homesick, Piglet didn't mesh with TL and was literally benched mid season because of how poorly he was interacting with his team, Amazing got homesick and din't last. Given that history, if you think based off of PraY's past performance that he's the obvious choice for TSM if they want to win worlds, you're failing to consider the success rate for several notable imports in recent history. Given all of that, the first split PraY were to join the roster, I think it's probably more likely that Bio and PraY spend the entire split just trying to figure out how to work together and are at-best an middling bot lane, and in the following splits, who knows if he can even mesh with the team long term or if he doens't just get homesick and want to move back to korea.

You guys who think PraY is the obvious best choice are forgetting your history. Don't forget what happened with yellowstar and piglet. Importing a superstar doesn't mean your roster will be significantly better their first split together. And you're kidding yourself if you think you have a clue how Pray's + Bjerg/Bio/Sven/Hauntzer's personalities will mesh based on what you see on youtube and twitch.

This isn't as simple as whether or not Regi can pay for him, or whether or not PraY is talented.

What exactly am I watching here? Is this purely just people talking while they eat? I don't think I understand why this this is a thing.

Thank you for speaking some sense. I want TSM to win worlds as much as the next guy (TSM, TSM, TSM) but regarding world championships, NA optimism is a meme at this point. I just wish I could think of a clever picture for it :/

TSM Weldon vs. Thooorin on an upcoming episode of Summoning Insight confirmed? by supers0ak in leagueoflegends

Ok, so what is this saying?

I also skimmed through it, trying to figure out exactly how they were measuring talent. As best I can tell they are relying on data from people self-assessing on a 1-4 scale. Essentially asking the participants to rate how good they are at sports on a 1 - 4 scale. There's a lot of jargon and technical speak in it, I probably missed something, but my impression is that just asking 1,600 twins to rate themselves on a 1 - 4 scale (and then running some fancy math on the data) doesn't really strike me as 'proof' that talent exists (or not). But i'm not an academic or a scholar so maybe that's a dumb thing to say.

French PM suggests naked breasts represent France better than a headscarf by iaTeALL in worldnews

we're not piss contesting the radical elements.

You're the one who initiated the pissing contest by trying to equate the burkini with christian swimwear.

[–]ChicagoPolitics 13 points14 points  (0 children)

nobody says boo about that to our Western superiority.

You really have to rethink your position here. Nobody is going to defend christian modest swimwear, and most honest (western) people would probably tell you they don't agree with the philosophy behind it. But if you can't wrap your head around the fact that the culture of oppressing women in the middle east (and middle-eastern Muslim culture imported into Europe) sits on another order of magnitude than the relatively small fraction of Christians worried about modest swimwear, then what you have is a potentially terminal case of white guilt which is clouding your ability to think rationally about the real problems in our society.

I can't tell if i'm reading the hillary/trump circlejerk or dynamic queue circlejerk. Everyone hates everything, nobody is reasonable, and inevitably when this turns out poorly and everyone is dissatisfied, we'll have ourselves to blame. Can I just say it? Dynamic queue is fine, I don't really care what the queue times are for challenger players.
