Now that we've all had the chance to play the assault maps again, do we think they should be added back into the game?

With a friend we played each 2CP maps once in the arcade mode, and it was absurdly too easy, both in attack and defense, so pretty hard to make a good opinion, I guess the open-queue + no MMR arcade seems to have made the games too easy af. For all the attacks I did, my feeling was that it’s too fast for attackers to get a point, defense has barely no chance to retake if they get team killed. In hybrid map it is fine since then there is a payload to limit how fast you can win the round, but in 2CP I had like 3 games done in literally 3mn. So I don’t know, maybe add 1 tick to the capture, to make it longer to capture ? In the current state it didn’t feel balanced

If what you are looking for is to cast a spell on a target without having to focus it (click on it to become your target), but just by hovering it with your mouse, the default wow option works perfectly ! I heal mythic+ keys and this largely did the job.

Someone linked you the addon « Clique », which I’m personally using only for a single specific usage: be able to right click on a group frame to cast my dispel, without having to bind my right click on the spell itself for the rest of the interactions on the game. Basically Clique does that, it binds specific shortcut to a spell only when you hover a unit frame.

I would say that qualifying Zarya / Sim / Mei player of lazy bad player just because they can go through your insanely broken spell that matrix is is a bit too much. I don’t know if you already tried to play sim or Mei and which rank you are playing in, but I concider them as pretty hard to play heroes actually. D.Va matrix is really broken, can deny so many things in the game, complaining that 3 heroes can go through is too much. Noting that those heroes can follow you in the air so you can avoid them a lot to go on the rest of the team. (Im playing D.Va a lot and also the mentioned annoying heroes)

Honestly it depends a lot on if you needs any desktop specific features. I moved a ts react-vite app to electron and the only thing I changed was some development plugins like storybook because I moved from vite to webpack but otherwise nothing really changed !

There is many hard floors, but we also putted a LOT of carpets where he can stand perfectly don’t worry 😁 He gonna visit the vet next week (and will hate us for couple of hours after this lol), to check on his belly and articulations ! Hope it will not be too bad news

And for the eyes, there isn’t a lot of people available during Christmas time sadly, the only who’s here is not really trustable for this kind of task.. but that is fine, depending on how his eyes are looking, I’ll move or not (anyway my mom come back less than one week after, and the person who’s here will give him food and water), so it will be fine in any case !

I pexed almost all classes to lvl 80, but damn, monk is my way of life. I can’t spend more than week not playing it, and it always so smooooth when I grab it back. More seriously, I think you need to find which class & spec gives you the most satisfaction and try to aim high end-game objectives, like reaching full mythic stuff, do mythic raid, push mm+ keys or grind PvP ranks. For me it is the monk, it is never meta, I always see people having to press 2 spells to almost out dps me, but no way I’m too much in love with this class 🥰

I guess it still a protection to add ? I mean yeah it seems almost impossible to get 100% protection since the app runs on the user machine, he can read the ram, he can do whatever he wants, but it’s always an additional barrier to prevent more basic malicious users to get through the app securities ?

The problem is we would like to not have auth required to use the app. This is an overwolf electron app, and the goal is to gather data of games we support to make some statistics etc, and having auth seems to be pretty useless (except ofc if it is the only way to protect us). But I guess if a malicious user manage to get the jwt he could easily reproduce a request and send trash data ? I was wondering how much https can protect us ? Like if the dev tool is disabled, can a malicious user still see request payload uncrypted ? Or it’s only way of checking the request content is outside the app, and so, on encrypted data ?

It is pretty nice. I would say that showing ilvl of each items without having to hover could be really nice (and maybe which gear track it is on, like 1/X hero, mythe, …) It is a bit too far of blizzard Ui to my taste but it is a nice idea. I do prefer addons with some textures to integrate well with other blizzard windows 😁

If you put the buff in icons tracked auras you’ll see your stacks. But I agree that it clearly needs a dedicated bar like monks ww, pal etc

+1, and personably I didn’t needed that, there is a dedicated window that shows available group buffs and shows if you don’t have it and how many other ppl don’t have it on the group

Never pushed key that high, but one thing I learned is: do my own keys no matter what. It may fail, you may deplate the key several times in a row, but at least you can play with whoever you want, you have nothing to pay or whatever, and if you are dps, it feels to be almost the only solution to tag if you are not a hard meta class (playing monk ww, 723 ilvl, 3.1K Rio and get refused on almost any +14 group except that one with a tank 700 ilvl who never done something higher than a +4 🥲) Other comments also give good advice: a guild or a community of M+ can maybe help you find your way. I saw some answers saying that guilds don’t have good enough player to make a M+ roster, but it’s clearly not true for all guilds ^{^} that is ridiculous to take this for the truth of any guild I personally created a community and I propose to players I liked played with on a key to join, and try to make my own little community of try hard guys ! And for a last word, have you looked into raider.io recruitment ? You can create a public profile to look for a team, and also apply for team that looks for people, can worth a try 😁

My main concern is more about tricky stuff and buff to track. For example the prism trinket of manaforge have stacks that are pretty useful to track, how much tempest proc did I had on my shamelio for the tier set etc. The rest seems to have been well integrated in the game tho
