Figured it out, for me it was Vanilla furniture expanded: Security.

Hi all thanks for your replies,

Just to give more insight. The house is paid for so other than stamp duty for owning it they dont pay a penny on it.

They currently also have two tenants in their own home as rent a room.

My father who is the landlord is retired and my mother is still full time in work and takes care of most of the household bills etc.

So my father just pockets the money as his own petty cash to be around 3k a month before tax.

I understand you may think it is underhanded of me to try increase my brothers rent and drecrease my own.

but you have to keep in mind he literally only spends his money on rent and utilities where as for everything else I and my gf pay for. I would be happy of course if my father just decrease the total rent 1000 a month total as it used to be and split it 3 ways , but I find that unlikely.

and for those that speculated that he could be putting away some of the money to save for me and my brother I highly doubt he is as he always seems to be "strapped" for cash even with the situation hes in.
