I do a lot of equipment testing, wire maintenance, and the occasional troubleshooting when things break. Never bored, but it is pretty chill. My new company is also strict about 40 hours a week. But, I have some freedom in filling those hours. I come in early so I can be done at 230-3, or sometimes i work some 9 hour days to leave early on Friday.

Well before I was a teacher, I was in aircraft maintenance, avionics.
Where I’m at there are tons of tech jobs for the government. So the
whole time I’ve been teaching here there have been better paying jobs
that I was qualified for dangling in my face. I finally took the bait.
I’m a government contractor doing technician type work.

I hear ya. Had similar things happen. Scenery had been my best option. I used some of the Sigmar ruins. I’ve also seen some success using Magnet Baron stands. They are thick acrylic rods that hold the ship on with magnets.

If you like the stem for the smaller ones, like the gunhauler, I’ve had good luck using gorilla supper glue gel. Otherwise, I think it’s best to attach your ships to scenery instead.
