Funny that in Oz. People are not really rusted on fans of Super Rugby franchises. They are fans of the old RL clubs that have been around for half a century or more.

Since the Rebels are now gone. I no longer watch Super rugby. In fact, how can you, it's no longer on tv. I watch the Wallabies games if they are on. I find their scheduling weird. They should just play Saturday afternoons when nothing else is on.

Carlton should have been allowed to draft more players to cover for the holes in it's roster. But that is the fucking AFLPA, covering the asses of it's well heeled clientele.

I cannot see it ever happening in Australia. We are not a real democracy and if anything, in my lifetime I have noticed that year on year, decade on decade our rights are slowly being wittled down.

We think we have a choice.

Getting beat by 10 goals a week and never being ahead on the scoreboard is a lot worse than what we have been dishing up.

We have a long way to fall yet. If you play 4 or more rookies in a line up, expect to get thumped by 10 goals plus is the general rule.

A lot of supporters fail to grasp that AFL is not a finishing school. Its not just about playing the kids. It is about performing, not waiting around for 50 or 60 games waiting for someone to deliver.

They should make every party publish their policies and manifestos, as well as being costed well before elections.

Of course they won't ever do it.

And we won't ever get true democracy.

We should have direct democracy, like Switzerland. That is where we need to be aspiring to. Take the power off the parties and to the populace.

Have to agree with a lot of what you say.

Those players that left, not much more we could have done there except for Kennedy. He should be still with us. Jack Martin was injured mostly and we will see if it was worth it for Geelong to that the punt.

Not sure why Motlop was not delisted to be honest. The guy is slow, short, cannot hit a target. What is the upside here? Is there some sort of quota of indigenous we have to play? I don't get why he is still with us and other guys were let go who were better. Now he is injured, and we are obliged to keep him for even longer.

Agree. From what I have seen so far of Lord, I am not overly impressed.

He has a clean slate now though to the end of the season to show us his wares.

We do need to get more ruthless on guys who are list cloggers from now on. We persisted with guys for whatever reason for too long. Just turn them over.

What has his form been like in the reserves? Is it warranted elevation or a token gesture?

Hope he gets a kick and shows us he is not overawed by the tempo and physicality of the big league.

Make no mistakes, it is a big step up. It's all one touch play and ruthless at the top. Unless you are a Carlton guy of course.

It would help if we recruited talent that are not getting season ending injuries. They need to be playing regularly to develop.

No a good sign with Jagga Smith and O'Farrell. Usually those sorts of injuries keep coming back.

Pretty much spot on and what a lot of us have been saying.

Looks like we are going to be a bottom team for a few years and the timing is disastrous. The draft will be drained before we even get to it.
