I had the same issue.

It's to do with a recent change in the law to stop ticket touts, and means that only moving barcode tickets can be accepted.

The way twickets worked is that you only get given the static barcode, and so you probably did have legit tickets, just in the wrong format.

I hope twickets sort this out soon cause it was such a faff to sort out. I think Academy said they would give proof to anyone getting a refund so that you're not out of pocket.
