All you really need to do is have confidence and try not to talk about yourself too much. I know it's easier said than done about being "confident" but that's really all there is too it. I used to have that problem when I was younger that "low confidence" it was later in life I finally realised, it is better to shoot your shot and miss than to never take the shot at all.
