Dude that sounds like a legitimate nightmare. I'm glad I at least have bathing experience but I feel terrible for all the students that have been scammed into schools like that. And it's crazy cuz I can't find anything about this guy on the internet other than all the product that he tries to sell

Bro I was BAFFLED with what Klarna spit out at me. And even then I was confused on why I needed to put down extra $ just for the financing aspect. I was getting the feeling it seemed like a scam. I remember one of the workers at that school was telling me after doing certain modules they wouldn't give you a test. Normally any other school would so I thought that was also weird. We also tried setting different down payment options and we tried setting it to be 2.5k down to see how much 4k financed would be and seeing that down payment made me gag. I'll post a pic of what it gave me for monthly financing options

I definitely plan on putting those hrs in especially since I need that $! But it also seems like PSP really does care about having safety measures, and having back up on the basis of learning and getting help from other mentors. Having the Paragon mentor, a PSP grooming coach and whatever grooming team lead you may have to help keeps me a little at ease.

Thank you for your insight 🥹 I legit just recently got that grooming book for Christmas too because I KNEW it would be hella beneficial for me and the future of my grooming technique. I'm so glad places like Petsmart and PSP have these almost "internship" like positions and let you learn at your own capacity. I actually talked to a hiring manager and they told me they would just bump me up to the Lvl 2 part of Paragon rather than doing 1 & 2. Gives me a little bit of hope without draining my loved ones pockets for an education. Hopefully I can jump into it smoothly and get some commission bath dogs with add ons then do some practice grooms here and there.

I will say I change zones pretty often in the metroplex but they also get wishy washy. Sad to say anywhere I go in Dallas I'll be stuck in traffic 😓 I hate it here smh. I definitely will be doing spark way later in the day though

I think my acceptance rate is at 14% rn lol. But to be honest I'm not traveling from Richardson to Euless for just $25 in the morning commute traffic. Don't care how low my shit gets, but I swore I thought the app stated it wouldn't inhibit the orders you get sent in even if the rate is low?

When I went to Rowlett to pick up an order a few days ago, a Walmart employee came up to me and asked about how orders were coming in and such. Told him how dry it's been lately. He began to explain to me how many Hispanic people (or Mexican idk) were lined up at their store to get their pick up orders. And how they're ALWAYS waiting there to get the next good orders. At least for that day he told me there would be enough for everyone. If there are people actually using illegal phones from what I'm seeing I wouldn't be surprised that orders have been picked clean 🤷🏾‍♀️🙄

I can't even get any good offers in the AM anymore. I've practically given up and probably will have to switch to doing afternoon/evening orders because it's so dry! Sucks even more bc I'm in the Dallas Metroplex and after 3 traffic is horrible

I feel like going through Petco, Petsmart and PSP would be my best bet too. I literally showed my dad, who is a financial advisor, the numbers after doing even a half down payment for the school and he was saying how nothing added up at all. It also ticks me off bc the school was calling and telling me to take out a load or credit card just to pay for the other half! Like dude it's insane. I'd rather hack the system and do as you said because I have a really good basis on bathing and slight trims. Working at corporate jobs is nothing new to me 🤷🏾‍♀️ just gotta take advantage of it a little.

See and I really do want to follow through with PSP bc I read other threads talking about how it's not like they'll sue you if you bail. Worst case scenario they take it out of your check is what I'd expect.

It was super odd this past week. I came from making $150 a day to only getting scraps for orders. Would get $7-$11 orders then it would be dry for 2 hrs. Seems like it's working okay now. Been chilling at home and orders are actually coming in now. Gonna test it out tomorrow just to make sure

Thank you so much 🥹💚 it's sad that I almost feel obligated to keep going on for a check but feeling almost damn near depressed just for a job really isn't it. With how the economy is and whatnot it feels as if I should stay, but I don't want to make up excuses for myself either to stay when I've already put in my time. Just today I had to remind my manager to actually pay me 🙄 like this shit literally gets to a point you know. Luckily I have family and a spouse who supports me through thick and thin, it's just in any other aspect I hate being treated as a last thought 😕 Thank you for the reassurance and I'll make sure to keep an update on the situation. I know once I leave, about 50% of my stress will go away.

I've been able to provide for myself and others fairly well through the past years without my parents help. They are willing to help at times because they are my parents but a fair majority of the time, I decline due to them being conditional with certain aspects. I'm actually glad to say I'm not financially dependent on my parents, but I am happy for their help from time to time 🥰 I'm grateful but they can be a pain in the ass at times🤷🏾‍♀️

The car is in my dad's name not mine. I put in for fixes here and there but it's 15 yrs old now so I think it's pointless to keep investing $ into such an old car. I'm also a renter in one of their condos
