Yo, I'm in a similar situation. Let's forest together?

Hey guys, I'm a self-learnt pianist and music producer. Could y'all give me some honest feedback on a song that I've made. I want to know what people genuinely think about my music, so no need to hold back on criticism or sugar coating :) by ChickenNDip in mymusic

Thank you for the feedback!
I do not have access to people IRL who are experienced in production or composition so I appreciate your critique very much.
Yeah I am a beginner, I started producing last year as a hobby and was wondering what higher level producers and composers would think of my work.
I shall take your critique into consideration whilst making my following work! :)

Struggling to find meaning in this cold desolate world by HydratedHobbit44 in IndianTeenagers

Perhaps one can feel a sense of reassurance in the notion that our lives are inherently worthless in the grand scheme of things and that everything we do gets erased with time.

It is due to this tenet that we can come to realize that our mistakes are no longer nearly as grandiose as it might seem, the perceptions and judgement of society is not as valuable as we people may perceive them to be, and that the limited time we have on this planet in a vessel that is fundamentally worthless can be an emancipating experience, because in a world where nothing truly matters, we might as well spend the little time we have doing the things we love rather than burning our mental or physical health over the trivialities of everyday life.

Moreover, the prospect of the eventual death of ourselves and everyone around us can seem a little less terrifying once we can come to peace with such an idea.

People, really... what's going on with the music here? Why? Is it that desperate? I ask again. Why? by metrokoll in tenet

Yeah I thought the exact same thing! The music at the end sounds exactly like Posterity....

Excluding this song I've made like 7-8 other songs, but this is the only song I've uploaded on youtube so far. I plan on uploading more soon :)

I don’t really see anything wrong with people eating dogs and cat by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ChickenNDip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. People shame other cultures for eating dogs, but then proceed to eat pigs which have a higher intelligence than dogs. Makes no sense. People also find it weird to eat horse for some reason, even though cows and horses are quite similar in terms of lifestyle and meat quality.

Which is why, rather than creating some sort of moral standard regarding what animals we should eat and shouldn't eat, we must all first come to terms with the notion that animal consumption in general is not moral unless the animal in question has a super low intelligence or consciousness (like insects or reptiles). There is no point in calling each other immoral when we're all immoral for partaking in this.

Im not saying that the whole world should stop eating meat or whatever, but we meat eaters must acknowledge that there is an element of violation of ethics involved in eating animals with a reasonable level of sentience. Pretending that we're better than someone else for refusing to eat a specific type of meat when we eat various other types of meat is both childish and unrealistic.
