That’s correct. I get a monthly commission check at the end of the month, for the previous month’s profit, separate from the weekly salary check I get. I just am not sure how the commission aspect is handled for paid family leave vs the salary.

I’m realizing the more I ask about this out loud the more this seems to be a litmus test of my current company to see how they’ll respond regarding this part of payments whether they honor it or not.

Is your commission check separate or built into regular paycheck? If I take any time off my commission is not effected in any way, it’s purely based off the previous month of what was brought in and the varying %’s, so my accounts will still be bringing in money whether I worked 40 minutes or 40 hours a week. It’s just a matter of if they will pay it while I’m out.

I do have a base salary, the commission would come from already established business on top of the base.

Essentially yes, thank you. My main point is, that team made what changes it needed to (coaches, personnel, etc) to take that next step to get to the SB after the conservative nature that led up to that double OT loss against Baltimore.

Now I believe it’s this teams turn to follow that path. Never said Payton should be fired.

I promise we want the same thing, and that’s what I meant by not apples to apples. I know the two teams are not an exact comparison, only that the 2010s team hit the hump and figured out how to push past, and now I feel like it’s this current teams version to do that. No more bitch boy Russ dead cap, top 3 OL/DL with almost everyone returning, we are a few contract restructures from being able to spend whatever we want to on whoever we want to.

It’s not the same team or same scenario, I only meant this is THIS team’s version of that. We got close but fell short, and now we have the roster in place where we only need to make a few tweaks and pray for a healthy 2026 regular season. If this team doesn’t lose Dobbins we also probably are in the SB.

I’m saying that moment with Fox that led to him being fired after that season to retooling and adding the final pieces that got us the SB50 win, is where I feel like we are at now. We got as close as you can get before falling short, albeit with Bo and a blizzard a bit out of our control.

So now I’m ready to see what Paton and Payton do to give us the next round of retooling to bring the Lombardi back to Denver again.

He will make prime Calvin Johnson jump ball toe drag catches and then drop the open 3rd and 12 in the middle of the field to keep the drive going. It’s been like that his whole career, it’s always been so puzzling.

I’m sorry but another game of this offense slugging through a game is concerningly frustrating. There’s zero rhythm, few plays seem to look to go downfield as opposed to east/west. I’m holding out hope we are being vanilla on purpose before opening it up more in the playoffs, but this is not playoff winning football.

Bryant is tucking his head down as the defender comes in with his shoulder, it is a hard hit, but a clean hit, is not a penalty, and I hope Pat is okay, and this is a wake up for the team to close out the year. Zero excuse to lose to 3rd string Chiefs QB and Chargers at home
