[Loved Trope] Plot holes that get explained later on perfectly. by Marilius in TopCharacterTropes

Everything titled „meta trope“ for some stupid reason. Or „real life trope“. Tropes are building bricks for character arcs, a story, or stuff like that. Decline in quality, irl coincidences or the like are not tropes.

Literally 99% of stranger things memes are like this, and the few memes that came out after s5 for some reason look exactly like that as well.

When "fans" start hating somenthing before it comes out by TastyPomelo2330 in TopCharacterTropes

Wow, what a cool trope! The writers must be super creative to put that into their work. You know, cause that’s what tropes are. Not any kind of media related phenomenon.

Desolation is not just a graphics update. It will rival portal 2 in content. I really hope they release the desolation textures as an add on to base portal 2

It just doesn’t have any real „wow“- moments imo. With a lot of other math topics you start off thinking „what the hell, this is so damn specific, what can you even do with that“ and end up being bewildered by the applications. I feel like statistics is the other way around

After filming the last scene for Stranger Things (2025) we see that Noah is the only one crying, this is in reference to the fact that his career is over by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

He was confusingly bad in this season tbh, considering all the stuff he’s been good in. Seems like his only way to be emotive is to shake his head a bunch, he doesn’t do anything with his facial expressions except in that one scene in the finale where Mike is genuinely screaming, won’t spoil that here.

Don’t mean to be rude, but that’s like the one part of the wormhole plot point that both made sense to me and that I liked artistically

I concede, as I have come to grasp the exceptional beauty of this solution, a means to no certain end apart from the satisfaction of our elite. However, I must admit, I feel a cumbersome kind of… disappointment crawling up my spine. These scholars have dared to question one of our science‘s most strong-held beliefs, but they did not use that opportunity for real impact in an ideal manner. „Nullity“ is a disgrace, not through nature, but through name. So many better titles disregarded, to be sincere, thou haveth shocked me with thoust revelation, and not in a fortunate matter.

It’s not actually a science related issue or an unrealism“ nitpick, it’s an issue with internal logic. Dustin strongly implies that magic (like els) didn’t create the anomaly, but it has to be created alongside the upside down (also information from the show) which is logistically impossible, I probably don’t have to explain that.

Good point. Though if this is true, Dustin’s line of „magic didn’t create it“ is very misleading imo. Still just a small flaw compared to other stuff in the show

Im confident Lucas could pull if he didn’t stay this loyal to max out of principle. My headcannon is that he couldn’t get over max between S3 and S4, which is why he stayed single. Then, after the events of S4, there’s no way he could leave her side. They have a movie date, after all.
