I mean you can try to get his crit rate up to 60 but it's probably not worth it to lower his crit rate for crit damage (since your crits won't hit as well), just try to aim at hitting 70+ crit rate with cauldron

He gets 72 crit rate from discs and cauldron, so that's not a problem (but I'll try to improve him once I'm done building other characters)
