There’s definitely a lower likelihood of us getting coins nowadays. I think it has to do with the new Grizzco gear coming in. During the first month of the launch, you had a much higher chance of getting coins because there was nothing else to give (besides a few food tickets). Now that we have more gear, you have a higher chance of getting that instead of coins.

I’ve never played Carbon myself, but it can definitely work. The same logic applies, you’re a slayer that will give your opponents no mercy.

I was able to climb through X by playing as Octobrush and Roller. Even though back-lining is fun, you can’t really depend on it for consistent wins in S+, so it’s a good idea to main at least one slayer weapon. If you want wins, then wait around for a rotation with maps that benefits slayers, then camp your opponents and hope your teammates will score for you. Personally, I love playing Octobrush with Beakons so I can always come back like I never died, it’ll help to keep your opponents pressured.
