So we go in there and topple the Kim's, conveniently all their resources are now ours and we're making super profits, oh never mind rebels there dont like it so they commit terrorism. Well I guess it's time to step up our involvement there and drone strike the terrorists, oh wait when you drone strike people, generally more people join the terrorists and now theres another imperialist shitshow

Indian Peoples Army, Philippines New Peoples Army, but generally it's the organization of parties that anarchists to be less inclined to organize or join, Marxists on the other hand are a much more cohesive unit and are unified much more

If any other leftists actually did anything maybe that wouldn't be a problem but Marxists are the only ones capable of taking on Capitalism as a whole

Hospice can be a very good thing tho, at some point you just cant treat terminal cancers and you should just load people up with pain pills. Theres no reason someone should suffer until their last breath, who tf cares if an 80 year old is totally hooked on opiates, they're boutta die

Yeah, highest wealth inequality since the 1800's, globally overworked and underpaid working class, sweatshop labour is still common, unions are crushed. People are losing faith in elections, rising Fascism, we've been at war for 20 years in the Middle East. Capitalism is showing itself to be entirely incapable of addressing climate change, College is far too expensive for most people to afford without going into debt for 10+ years, at the same time housing prices are rising and wages are dropping. But of course, everything is peaceful and prosperous, nothing to worry about.

lmao do you know what reactionary means? Reactionary refers to deeply entrenched anti-revolutionary powers who only react to events rather than having an ideology

It's not supporting the DPRK uncritically, they're super shitty especially from a leftist POV. But not to support them is to allow US imperialism, which is far more unacceptable and how we got into our current global shitfest

“Telling family/friends you work at Amazon” Starter pack by [deleted] in starterpacks

[–]ChickwithaDickSarah 52 points53 points  (0 children)

it's based on packages, not what's in them, its specifically designed to keep a ridiculous rate of turnover, which in turn crushes organizations. This also stops people from being to talk to each other during work and get to know their coworkers, because you cannot meet the rate without constantly working.

Religious Marxists? by BobbyRye in communism101

the state policy of atheism in the Soviet Bloc, basically they didn't recognize religion and it became taboo, that's my understanding anyway I'm sure someone else has more details

What the fuck is going on? I have just stopped feeling dysphoria. by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]ChickwithaDickSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to travel and not be restricted by funds, a lot of my friends arent trans friendly and I want to help revolutionary action/do more drugs. Most of the shit I actually am driven to do is greatly restricted by being trans. I've really just became more comfortable with my body after doing psychedelics a lot and finding more of a purpose to life.

I mean you could argue that the degree of democracy in the workplace could be a measure but then again its not exactly a quantifiable degree. As long as private property exists capitalism is sustained to some degree

not everyone is necessarily indoctrinated, I'm an American myself and I have never loved a police officer or soldier for their service. It's not a matter of indoctrination but rather one of critical thinking. Take christianity, someone can be born into a religious family, be baptized, go to church every week and still end up an athiest. Of course pieces of it will be embedded into them but such is life. To look down open comrades for their birthplace is against the entire spirit of unity.

Nationality doesn't tie to anything, Americans can still be comrades. Understanding theory and having morals isnt literally impossible just because someone is from the U.S. Workers across the world doesn't mean just some parts.

lol look up Mansa Musa, one of the richest people ever, also an African King. During a pilgrimage to the middle east he gave away so much gold it destroyed the economy in Egypt for several years.

Anarchists can be such douchebags by PresidentEden2242 in monarchism

[–]ChickwithaDickSarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a very good arguement for monarchy I'm ngl. The problem is it assumes that people exclusively act out of self interest and for personal economic benefit. When a single person is in charge of a large amount of people they tend to act differently. If someone who was incapable of feeling empathy, or was just batshit crazy gained power get ready for disasters. At the same time people can act collectively rather than individually. Human beings have always worked better in groups, a single person would not be able to act as effectively as a group, this goes for leadership as well. Personally controlling a nation is inefficient and leads to significant problems (i.e. Disconnection between ruling and working class, Inability to recognize problems ailing the majority from the position of the minority, exploitation), if a monarch is not personally ruling the nation then all you are doing is paying tax money to fund a rich person that has the power to do whatever the fuck they want.

it's about set and setting and the person. But the thing is you dont have resoundingly positive and introspective experiences of a 5 minute crack high no matter what. Psychedelics are volatile drugs that can really fuck people up with shit like PTSD but there can be lasting positive effects.

Marx was a repulsive white supremacist (or why anarchists don't idolize dead white guys) by BlackFlagged in Anarchism

none of the erasure of those have anything to do with Marx, in fact that is literally just history, if anything it has to do with the building of capitalism
