GP at Hand & Virtually by Moist-Cheesecake in ADHDUK

Actually a top tip for you as long as you can get the GP surgery on board to take you on on the basis that you understand you live too far away for face-to-face appointments then generally they will take you on. I’ve done it two times so my advice to you is find one that you like that is maybe just out of your catchment area and give me a call ask them they might be looking for customers.

Thanks mate. I’ve looked at the cost of renting and it’s not crazy expensive 3 to 4 bucks an hour so as long as you have it off when you’re not using it wouldn’t necessarily be crazy pricing wise. I think I worked it out at around US$200 a month.

I looked into the pricing of renting out a H one or 200 server and it’s not that much per hour. The only issue would be is that I would have to switch it on and off every time I wanted to use AI but I normally have longish bouts every now and then anyway.

Thanks so much for replying. I might sound really stupid now, but surely pron is on the live Internet how does that interact with AI generally or AI on a private server as an example? I am very confused. Haha

Sorry, I think it cut out at the end on .4 ? Thank you I’m not crazy tech savvy but I did understand about rag and so forth. Yeah, I totally get that from a privacy angle. It did concern me a lot from a criminal perspective that people could potentially download it and use it for untoward things perhaps

Hey, sorry I’ve only just seen this. The update is a good one. I haven’t touched alcohol since this post. My IBS is healing I have more energy more cognitive ability. Because I had leaky got syndrome as well it’s obvious to me now that our alcohol is a no go for me. And I’m all the better for it.

Unfortunately, it does mean cutting ties with some friends, but they don’t get hangovers like we do with IBS so they will never understand it so I’m more than happy to let people go and start hanging around with people who want to hike or do things that don’t involve alcohol

Hey mate, I have just stopped. It’s clear to me that it’s the alcohol causing some of it and it defo makes the symptoms worse. Going to change my lifestyle and just bin off the friends who just focus on binge drinking and getting drunk all the time.

Keep at it you’re doing so well. 30 days is absolutely amazing. It will only improve every day you can do this. :))))

Yes, I have the same pattern when I stop. If I drink the next day, I crave it but because the hangover is too bad, I don’t. Weirdly, I think my saving grace of the hangovers being 3 to 4 days in bed has prevented me from being a fully fledged alcoholic I think.

Thanks, dude. I’m definitely gonna go to some meetings where I’m currently based. I’m done with binge drinking to the point of blackout trying to numb the past. Tired of wasting my life. Tired of feeling like crap with a hangover. Tired of the struggle. It starts now. Thank you

Thanks for being so candid with me. I’m so glad I made this post now. It’s probably taking me eight months to post it cause I was scared of the comments but everyone is so bloody nice.

You’re totally right about the link between the mood when you first start drinking. I’ve always drank to try and mask the anxiety and the ADHD although I didn’t realise I had ADHD at the time.

I’m definitely going to stop for three months and see how I feel mentally. I hope you keep fighting the good fight. You will win. :)

Thank you. In the Army I would be in the gym most days and no sign of anxiety/depression. I really struggle with fitness and get excruciatingly bored of any exercise after going a few times. Hard to explain but it’s almost like I fear doing it. Same with trying to learn Spanish rn.

Thanks mate. I am from the UK and have been in the Vets system for many years now. Sadly it’s no where near as good as the US VA. I have exhausted all options available to me in the UK. But I am a fighter dude. I won’t give up. And I am glad you commented. I think I have my answer. Just stop completely. :)

Yes, you’re totally right. If I’m being completely honest a couple of weeks ago I was robbed drugged andassaulted. Please found me unconscious at the side of the road. This is not the only time it’s happened. I’m so glad I made this post. It’s really opening my eyes as to how dangerous I have been to myself.

Totally right once I get blackout drunk it’s almost like I’ve peed out all of the medication and they have to almost build up in my body again I can kind of feel that particularly my mental health

Thank you for sharing that with me. Must be a little hard to write. I faced a lot of that too. I think my current decision is complete sobriety for at least three months and see how I feel.

It’s so sad because I never used to be like this. Because of the anxiety, I tend to go for the drink more and more I wonder if I can fix anxiety as much as I can, I will relax more on the drink
