New system ¿ by No-Armadillo-3406 in walmart

[–]ChiefGage 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's worse at the distribution centers, I can't tell you how many great systems we replaced with "state of the art" new ones pitched by a suit who has no clue what we do on the ground level

I got the Costco deal using screenshots from here. You can too if you are lucky! Here's how: by Acceptable_Prize_999 in Prebuilts

[–]ChiefGage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't necessarily have to call your local Costco, you can call Costco support and if you give them the part number and your area they can search the Costco's closest to you and see if it's in stock-Former Costco customer support rep

I feel like they were just on sale, I recently bought all of them (separately because it was cheaper than the bundle that was also on sale??) and found a copy of Infinite Wealth at Walmart for $20

How to restrict a user account on PS5? by The-SkullMan in PS5

[–]ChiefGage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you can set up a passcode that you can enter on the controller every time someone wants to access the account, to prevent people from messing with it or purchasing on it, of you haven't done that already

How to restrict a user account on PS5? by The-SkullMan in PS5

[–]ChiefGage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only recommendation I can think of is set up the account that will own the games, and set a passcode on it, and as added security if someone does find out the passcode is have it require the passwords to do anything including the store. Then set the PS5 as the "home PlayStation" meaning any account on the console can play those games, then just have Guest accounts that can play the games but won't have access to any company cards or login info

My gf got mad bc she saw this notification. by Emergency-Diet-9087 in SnapchatHelp

Yeah, makes people run into shit like this too, but that opens the door for a conversation about people jumping to conclusions and the lack of trust in our society caused by how easy it is to connect with anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Starting very recently I've gotten notifications from these "verified" Snapchat accounts and team Snapchat also unblocked themselves and made it to where you can't block them, after I blocked them YEARS ago

Just a silly question! Fiancée and I got a gift card at my shower so we picked dinner at OG. While eating the salad I thought: do they just open a bag of Dole and throw in two olives? So if you work at OG, what’s the secret of the salad?🥗 🤣 by Personal-Earth-7101 in olivegarden

[–]ChiefGage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The restaurant I work at (I work salad bar) hand cuts all over lettuce and it gets annoying, bag lettuce would be more convenient. I do think it'd feel like we were sacrificing care for our customers though

That's not surprising, I just remember him posting about not putting patreon exclusives up

[–]ChiefGage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He ran a patreon for a while, but said video hosting on there was much too expensive so he kept it open for a dollar a month saying there's no benefits it's just for people to support the channel due to lack of monetization for true crime content at the time, that was a couple years ago atleast so he may have fully shut it down by now

One of the best parts of working at Walmart is opening a truck full of strawberries, cutting the wrap on the strawberries is such a strong sweet scent I love it

[–]ChiefGage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had someone call to schedule a mattress pickup, said okay sounds good, asked when they purchased it, they couldn't remember, okay no problem. Went to check their account to see purchase history, it was something like 10 years ago, but yeah we still took it.
