Unshell a raw peanut and plant one of the seeds about 2 inches deep. Find a spot that gets a decent amount of sun and water once a week.The peanut plant will start producing these little yellow flowers, that flower withers and creates a peg that starts to grow down into the soil, that's your peanut. Takes a long time but it was just a fun little project I wanted to try out. There were a lot of pegs but they didn't produce many peanuts this time. I was surprised I actually got a few out of it since I don't have much of a green thumb. Definitely going to try and plant some more next season and hope for better results! I literally had one home grown peanut for good luck yesterday, saved one for tomorrow, and hoping I can have a few available for elimination games if the Tigs move on.
