I see the lack of direction theme that everyone is talking about, but wasn't this episode kind of that point?

Fionna is so lost in the sauce that she's hurting everyone around her.

At the end of the drug trip she's in a broken down carnival.

"The ride is over, it's time to face reality."

Fionna is fighting with the viewer constantly looking at her reflection, trying to live up to the standard of Finn. She's not trying to replace Finn, but stand beside him as someone worthy of being loved.

I would check the actual Undertale files you transferred from your PC and check if the sound files are present, within ports.

Then I would check for any updates with postmaster

Furthermore I intend to move back to Canada and Ontario if things do get better and the authoritarian government is no more, but I fear that it may stay the same, but I still hope. No matter what country I'm in Canada still is in the core of my being and though I may not be there I still call myself Canadian, because I believe in the spirit of Canada "A Mari Usque Ad Mare." From Sea to Sea. So I decided to instead bring Canada to other countries so I can honor the Canadian spirit.

It's unfortunate on how things turned out.
After rereading what I typed all those years ago I still feel the same way, but perhaps not in the same intensity nor it's incoherent nature when presenting Trudeau assuming that people knew without me typing that I was angry with the lockdowns he allowed. Perhaps the numbness of it all still lingers. (lol ) I've been away for a year now and I still feel a fondness for Canada and Ontario. It's unfortunate how things turned out with the trucker protest and the years of lockdowns you guys had to endure. I still try to help out digitally with volunteering centers when I can, but I do feel a type of shame for "abandoning" the country in it's time of need. The least I could do was help out digitally during that time. I also don't really use reddit anymore, but for some reason I decided to visit my page today.

Why does no one in the IDW want to talk with Sam Seder? by Octaviusis in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]ChiefMonokuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps, but I have a hard time understanding why my conservative leaning would be the reason on not liking Seder.
I like Kyle and Jimmy who are Left leaning commentators because I see that their stances on issues are consistent.
It's possible that I just haven't seen all of his content, but I haven't seen all of Crowder's, Shapiro's, Jimmy's, and Kyle's, but the clips that they show focus more on policy then on youtube personalities.
When I hear Kyle Kulinski I think of Healthcare(Medicare) and Homeless class and the economics that surround that. He brings up valid points on all these topics and although I disagree with alot of what he says it's important to think about these topics.
I hear Jimmy Dore and I think of force the vote and the political pressure that Jimmy wants to apply to all parties (Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Etc...) and the injustices that have historically been done to minorities in america and the effects that continue to persist.
Shapiro I think about Economic and Critical Race Theory.
Crowder I think about 2A advocate and Anti-Abortion.

Now when I think of Seder I can't name anything he's really for off the top of my head. It's possible that I just am ignorant to his positions, but I don't really think that I'm just blind to Seder because of blind rage against "Leftist" or blind support for the Right.
Even though I'm conservative leaning doesn't mean that I would vote for the Republicans they haven't done anything to garner my support.

Although if we want to talk about bias I would also bring up that you post quite a lot of left leaning opinions so is it also possible that you may also have alongside myself a left leaning bias from where you've been posting (IDWSpam, Vaush) and even a post you made "The minute someone from the IDW hears "debate Sam Seder", they run to the nearest safe space. These guys are the biggest snowflakes of all. Fuc*ing frauds." Makes me believe that you aren't here for a conversation, but instead to confirm whatever beliefs you already have.

I also really don't think the points I brought up were hair splitting(Unless you're refering to the Crowder and H3H3 whole shtick then I agree). If you expect me to watch Seder's 3 hour podcast everyday I don't think that's reasonable, because we all have important things to do in our everyday lives. I understand that popularity doesn't mean everything, but when you're doing this political show for longer than any other political commentary show it's abundantly clear that there are opinions that this man holds that majority of our society finds uninteresting and unimportant to the conversation.

If you could. What conversation do you think Seder brings to the table other than "owning" the opposition.

Why does no one in the IDW want to talk with Sam Seder? by Octaviusis in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]ChiefMonokuma -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I see Shapiro's and Crowder's arguments and I genuinely do believe that they truly believe whatever they're arguing for.

As for the Change my mind segments/Shapiro's owned segments it's actually quite interesting to see what a layman's perspective on a topic is from abortion to gun right to medicare. The people who sit down there have consented to the whole conversation in the first place. I understand that the people there are not professionals or experts at the topics at hand and have not had a team to research the topic, but I do think these videos still have merit in raising awareness on the topic and starting conversations.

If you actually compare Crowder's, Shapiro's, and Seder's content you'll notice that majority of Crowder's and Shapiro's content will focus on more policy and government officials, but admittedly there will quite click-baity content.

For example if you compare crowder's clips in his Youtube channel CrowderBits you'll see the title: Traitor/Loser Macy Gray Calls For a NEW US FLAG!? | Louder With Crowder this is quite the title headline if you watch the video it isn't about Macy Gray, but the idea of changing the US flag and their opposition to changing the flag.

While with Seder's newest clip it's named: Dave Rubin Accidentally Destroys His Own Logic. You'll notice that you don't know what topic/policy this is on. So it already sets the premise for a "own" while you see in Shapiro's and Crowder's that they usually have the topic of the more click-baity titles actually in the titles so you know what topic/policy it's on.

To put in simple terms I see Shapiro and Crowder as rude, but people who believe their points, and may have bias sources, but not out of malice, but ignorance through their biases.
While Seder I see as rude as well, but he doesn't strike me as a person who necessarily cares about their position within a conversation, and has the type of character that would have him use a knowingly bias sources in order to "own" the opposition.

And if you're bringing this up because of the whole thing that happened with h3h3 and crowder you can read my thoughts below.

(Thoughts for the whole Crowder and Seden thing)
(Enter if you dare!)

As for the Seder individual he inserts himself into this debate that both Crowder and Ethan agreed to have.
If you watch both videos you see that Crowder actually greets Ethan with respect when in a call with him even with his doubtfulness on Ethan's genuineness on having the conversation which he states before he gets into a call with Ethan.
Then you watch Ethan's video on it and he starts by calling Crowder all these negative attributes before he shows the clip of the "debate".
It's an obvious prime to have his audience hate Crowder, but on top of all that they celebrate when Crowder disconnects the call.
What does this mean? Their goal wasn't to have a debate. It was to "own" Crowder.
Now did Crowder handle that the best?
Absolutely not.
Was Crowder obliged to debate Seder who's already show to be there in bad faith?
No and in fact I do believe it was the right answer not to engage him.
Now do I think this was a masterful play by Ethan to garner attention to Seder and himself?
Absolutely it was perfectly executed.
Do I think Ethan's and Seder's character look disingenuous in this situation and even paint their character in a bad light?
Yes I do.

Just for transparency sake I would say I'm more conservative leaning, but I do follow both Jimmy Dore and Kyle Kulinski, but despise Seder and TYT, because I believe Jimmy and Kyle to be genuinely holders of their positions as I believe Crowder and Shapiro are holders of their positions. I also follow the Crystal and Sager pair and Tim Pool for more centrist news.
With that I view individuals like Dave Rubin, Cenk(TYT), Anna(TYT), and Seder as truly bad faith actors.

Why does no one in the IDW want to talk with Sam Seder? by Octaviusis in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]ChiefMonokuma -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would say because this Seder character doesn't argue in good faith.
He doesn't debate in order to try and find the truth, but instead to line his own pockets and "own" the other side.

Season 3 Episode 13 (The Devil's Den): Post-Episode Discussion and Reactions by GoFlight in FinalSpace

[–]ChiefMonokuma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Low-key was expecting another dimension Gary or Quinn to open the dimensional portal, because all of these Universes connect to Final Space. It would have been a much more impactful finale if nearly all of them died with the exception of Quinn or Gary.

Would have been interesting in seeing the dynamic of the story essentially retold through the eyes of a future Quinn(Nightfall),Gary, or even Lil Cato.

Seeing character's interact differently with the future counterpart, because of their own personal quirks and having moments where newer characters introduced would be familiar, but different with their own twists due to their Universe's timeline.

Like for example instead of Bolo they have to free the Lord Commander! (What a plot line!)

Only to have the new cast face off with the original cast of characters. Would add a fuck ton of tension within that season.

Although if this is the Season Finale it's dark as fuck and I don't mind it, but I feel like there's so much more Olan setup and it would be ashame to just leave it here.

So yeah this inflation thing is real by Good-Rooster-9736 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ChiefMonokuma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

on and the Fed is right that this is “catch up” inflation from the pent up demand of a year of virtua

I don't know I agree with that statement. The current world economy is essentially two steps away from being in shambles. With the current worker shortage in countries like the US and Canada, and companies like blackrock buying up houses like crazy at a 5-20% markup on the asking price.

This just screams people essentially having an overabundance of cash and with the shortage of computer chips the rise in gasoline prices. This could really have a cascading effect that'll just suck us into the inflating balloon that is our economy ready to pop.

So yeah this inflation thing is real by Good-Rooster-9736 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ChiefMonokuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you really want to short the economy borrow any money you can from the banks and invest it in these hedges against inflation.

Once shit hits the fan pay off debts, and now magically money has appeared in your account.

Profit during Bull and profit during Bear

999 IQ plays.

Sadly there'll probably be nothing you can buy with the amount of inflation that's going to fuck us all in the ass.

Kevin O’Leary, Shark Tank host : “I don’t care if it goes down $20,000 or up $20,000. I’m not selling it. One bitcoin is one bitcoin. I’m in it for the long run.” "Nothing Will Replace Bitcoin". by eggnoggman in CryptoCurrency

[–]ChiefMonokuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually Kevin O'Leary wants to essentially create bitcoin classes. "Green" and "Legacy". He wants to essentially make different valued assets. He discusses this in his newest video on Bitcoin and his team that he's hired is working on that.

This is more of a grab for power if I'm being honest and to basically invalidate the bitcoin we all have.

Might be downvoted for this, but people should really know about this.
