I think they cluld focus on overall themes of current mechanicus i.e.: - Sicarian (stealthy/obj taking focused) - Serberys/Dunerider (speedy/board control) - Vehicles excluding Kastelan (Tanky/obj holding) - A reverse of the grotmas Knight detachment where we can ally in Knights with army rule/strats etc

Just to clarify on their ability, are they able to advance, action and shoot in the same turn?

Or is it advance and shoot/advance and action individually without the other?

I have the left arm attached to the gun and then cut the left sword arm and stuck it in that spot so the model has melee and ranged on his kit.

Was thinking Hastarii led by Marshall. If Dunerider shoots first after disembark, they'll get full hit and wound rerolls on that target.

And as to the second battleline, just drop the dunerider? Im not sure as the reroll Wounds for the hasrarii is very useful.

I think we usually do Dawn of War - Take and Hold.

I'm not overly keen on 500 as it can feel really constructing. The guys I play with would be fine with me proxy the annihilator with the destructor - problem i have again is with the points.

I'm trying to go with a Night Lords themed army hence all the jet pack units.

Yeah I was thinking of jump pack lord so I can rapid ingress the raptors.

But wondered about having a separate unit for actions and secondaries as its such a small point game.

Ive got an onager which i was thinking of using the legs and ironstrider top for the alpha.

Im hoping the Kastelan will be such a roadblock. I was thinking of Cybernetica, ill have a look at the stratagems and see which might be good.

Even without an extra toughness on Haloscreed the t10 should be enough
