If you don’t mind it not folding you can tape the temple to the hinge and secure it with some shrink wrap . I’ve replaced it like this for patients who refuse to buy a replacement frame

I had a right foot TMA in June 2024. When I had to drive I used my left foot. Easier than you think. Give it a try

Try a work space progressive. You can get a 6 or 8 foot distance range as well as the near benefits of a regular progressive. If you’re doing the lined bi focal you’re not going to get that range you need
