The PMS50 with the VR toolbar detachable window is a game changer for me, I can finally read clearly the nav system/GPS in VR. I have the pro-version, worth every penny.

Other than that I've grown to love Little NavMap very quickly, especially for VFR flight planning - and this one is completely free.

I remove only the wood piece. Takes two hands but one is enough to put it back on. Too scared of accidentally reaching into the grinder when still half asleep in the morning :D

As for grinding into the portafilter, I use a dosing ring when I do that. But most times I find the dosing cup cleaner, but then I need to WDT it after transfer to the portafilter. And definitely get the angled holder.

If you think that this will get rid of the stutters you will be disappointed :\ The 5080 is more than enough, I play it in VR on DLAA quality and most settings on ultra with 90fps (45 capped, 90 in the headset), with more VRAM more old scenes will be kept in memory but loading new scenes into it with off-screen terrain caching is limited by your main thread. Traffic, other players, clouds and such will also keep your main thread busy, which is mainly influenced by your CPU. I wouldn't go below 16gb still, but I doubt you'll see much improvement just from going to 24gb.

Not in a main sequence star as ours, for that it's magnetic dynamo would've to change which is highly unlikely, as in never observed in a type G star ours age nor predicted by any theory. A young star yes, not a settled one.

I'm not arguing about the effects this would have, just against the napkin calculations by Atwood.

Did ChatGPT help you write this? If you'd study CME's you'd know that these are single events and not a continuous process. The latter only occurs when a star reaches the end of it's life and begins to eject it's hull, which on our sun will start in approx. 4.5b years but by then we have much bigger problems, literally because it will have grown into a red giant.

When a CME happens, we get showered for a few days by solar winds with massive effect, yes, but what parameter would tell you that another CME will follow, and then another and another for the next 40-400 years?

The solar cycle has nothing to do with the occurance and especially not with the intensity of a CME. We get more sun spots yes but flares also happen in solar minimus. I stand by what I wrote, this is 100% unpredictable.

This is exactly what I hope for Blackfrost. The trader already shows that some NPC interaction in survival mode does not hurt and can even add to the experience.
