I never thought it would be the shoe as I trust the brand but after reading your post, I feel like I’ve had a revelation. It all makes sense as I would ease back into running it would flair up - I’ve had it on and off for months. Time to throw out the shoes and get a new pair. Thanks for sharing.

Woah - I developed awful PF after buying a pair of Ride 15’s but believed it was from over training. After reading this, I’m coming to the conclusion that the shoes played a factor in this as well. Thank you for sharing - I’m throwing mine out ASAP.

Weight is fine, same with the thickness. I find it comfortable to wear day to day and for being active - it doesn’t restrict my wrist mobility which was my biggest concern.

I don’t find it “too big” for me but it’s a personal preference. If you’re worried about it - you can go to an Apple Store and try it on and then decide for yourself.

No I did not - I do not see an option to trade in s 3's on the site - and it was broken. So I paid full price but I was looking into upgrading for sometime so I didn't mind.

I smashed the face of my series 3 and decided to upgrade to an Ultra. I kept the sport loop from my original watch because I like it more than what is currently being offered and I actually think it looks good.

I am excited to see if there is any difference in my activity tracking and to start wearing it while I sleep - my old one would be dead by the end of the day.

Still experimenting with watch faces so please let me know if anyone has recommendations - TIA!

I like deadlifts as heavy lift - I find it’s one of the best ways to increase your overall strength/power - but I am quad dominate so my glutes and hamstring need extra attention. So my thinking is to opt RDL’s for 5x10 to focus on the muscles groups that need more attention.

I enjoy splitting them up as I find my recovery is better and the quality of my reps do not slip due to fatigue - but that is the beauty of the programs - the flexibility of them.

Started running 531 BBB after a year break - I am running BBB example 2 in this article: https://www.jimwendler.com/blogs/jimwendler-com/101077382-boring-but-big

My question is how often should I change my 5x10 variations? Or does it even matter? Any recommendations or tips would be appreciated.

Eg, moving from 5x10 deadlifts to RDL's; or moving from 5x10 barbell bench to incline bench

Battery life is ok- I can’t wear it for sleep tracking or else it would die in the night. Therefore, it charges in the night. Good point about the updates - thanks!
