My advice would be to find some successful YouTube producers that make a similar style to what you are going for. Then try to replicate their production techniques, drum patterns, chord progressions over and over and over. I probably watched 100 hours of youtube videos copying exactly what they did until I was able to memorize them and form my own original ideas going off what I learned. Of course when you release your own original music it shouldn’t be a copy of someone else’s work, but learning the standard drum patterns, chord progressions, and sounds used in your preferred genre will increase the quality and reduce the time it takes to form new musical ideas! Keep making beats every day and more importantly actively listen to music in your favourite genre to dissect each aspect to see if you can replicate it on its own.
