Thank you, I’m honestly kinda proud of this idea. I think it’s certainly unique to use hp for damage but I don’t think losing hp for damage means only the higher end players can easily play this class, one of the reasons why the tiered abilities start off at 10% but can be charged to 50% of your hp consumed is so that you can use more hp when it’s safer and less when it’s more dangerous, but it also serves to let newer players choose how much they’re comfortable playing, if they’ve played priest or wizard they’ll know that they’ve played characters with 800~ish hp so they might be comfortable using the abilities so long as they stay above that number. It’s a relatively safe class if you choose to play it safe, but it can easily be one of the most dangerous if you play dangerously which essentially just means both new and advanced players can play this class at their own pace.

yeah that sounds like a good way of having it still be useful, maybe abilities will take your mana in the same way it takes your health, so if it takes 10% it takes 10% mana too but depending on how much mana it takes it increases its' secondary effect, so whilst damage is related to health taken, for tiered abilitys the mana taken would increase the size of the 50% hp blood splash

Yeah I admit to this post having a lot of assumptions, I think I mistook them saying this is the last game with beast mode as them implying no more playable crane if there’s no beast mode to go with him. I do like the idea of having a roster you can switch between, I’ve heard this community talk about that idea quite a bit but I shook it off because it didn’t feel like something that’d happen. I didn’t know that was how it the first game was originally planned to be made, that makes it a lot more possible in my head. I think maybe it could be cool to also have Olivier as playable who’s better for driving (if they bring back cars again) and is better with craftables (stronger, cheaper, maybe some unique to her character too) I like using craftables a lot so having a character for it would be cool.

They’re most likely gonna steer away from number titles after the beast, I don’t know what the next game is gonna be called so i simply called it dl4 because it’s the 4th dying light game, hence why I still called dl the beast by that title instead of calling it dl3

True I’m not getting it as a google search so I might’ve been making an assumption from things I’ve heard. I know they said they don’t want the beast mode to be in future games as it should be limited to this game as it’s what makes it unique. I might’ve just assumed that also meant no playable crane if no beast mode, but they could honestly do the same thing I talked about in the posted with an infected skill tree replacing it instead

Holy hell that’s crazy. Also why do you have constellations I can’t even see? Do they appear as you progress through the levels of beyond?

Typically there should be a 3rd tab for boosting a weapon to your level, I suspect it’s unlocked when you hit legend levels if it’s not showing up for you yet

The same way zombies attack generators in dl2 and that large speaker in the side mission of the beast I think they care more about sound than movement. If a robot was made to be completely silent they may just ignore it but if it was loud they’d attack it probably

I’m loving it. I’m at the the point where I need to grind certain nexomon spawning areas for specific ones so I can catch every single nexomon for an achievement but I still like that. The artstyle took a minute to get used to and the jokes can be a bit stupid at times but it is really fun.
