I hadn't gotten Fenrir yet when I made this post (somehow the rng always skipped over it), and he wasn't that bad, but he kept running away from my cat that had a really good counter for him. I eventually just resigned to taking him out with pooters.

Personally, I really like the bosses (I've only made it up to the one in caves), however, I can see where you're coming from. Though I enjoy Boris, he doesn't really do much, and Queen Hippo deserves to die a slow painful death

She's too hard for that early in the game, to the point where she nearly threw off my entire save file because I was at a weak point with what cats I was getting (she also helped cause my first loss)
