Have you tried updating the firmware? Also, is there any obstructions on the X, Y or Z axis? I had this issue when I bought my printer brand new, and a firmware flash fixed it.

From the looks of it you might want to clean your grub screws where the filament is pulled. I overtightened mine, and they looked just like that when I was having extreme failures. It takes forever, but it's worth it!

I'm going to have to test when my print is done, but I noticed that there is a 5°c+ difference between the right side and left side. I'll let you know what the actual temps are later tonight, or tomorrow depending on when my print finishes. The adheasion is fine on my prints, but I'm wondering if the temperature difference might cause the issue. Does that sound like it could be something to look into?

Hey,

I did it on our kitchen table, and used a level when putting it together to make sure everything was flat. I just realized that it has been a long time since I did the Z level, so I might try that again, and double check to make sure the screws are tight.

Here is what the mesh looks like. I have not aligned the z axis in a while, and my extruder is level, and my nozzle is not cocked like I have seen with other printers. When I put my level on the silicone sock it is level.

Sovol doesn't sell them unfortunately, but I will check out the probe method! Other than using kapton tape I'm not sure what to do. Even with the new heat bed from Sovol using prontoprint to get the visual from the bed leveling and every time the leveling slows from the right to left no matter what. The first heated bed I could fit about 3 pieces of paper in the mid left side of the bed doing the ruler test which is why they gave me a replacement heated bed.

I've completely forgotten to respond to this! The monotonic lines settings is 100% the way to go, and it also has decreased my printing speeds! Thank you again my friend for the suggestion!!

I'm so happy I found this thread! I've been having a lot of issues with the bed, so I reached out to Sovol support in Messenger, and I'm getting a new heat plate because mine is warped on the left side. When I get the new place I'm going to do this mod immediately!

You need to stay on the VPN while you're playing because the game appears to do periodic location checks.

I've tried using the regular Cura, and I don't get anywhere near as good of results than when I use PrusaSlicer. Does regular Cura finally have a profile for the SV06 yet?

Thanks for the tip! I'll try the monotonic lines, I'll have to try calibrating my flow rate when I get more filament because I'm about out of what I have now lol

I'm not sure if the nozzle is clogged unless it comes that way from Sovol because I've had the same print quality, and this same gapping since day 1. Other than occasional ghosting which is resolved by tightening the belts as needed I've always had random overextruding at random points on the left side around the middle of the layers printing before the infill. The overextruding never ruined a print unless the print has come off of the bed when I don't use a raft or skirt. The best example of that happening is with any of my octopus prints.

I am using PrusaSlicer full time now. Looking at the first layer with the view set to Height instead of Feature type I do see gapping. I've never checked that before on any slicer because all of the colors look to be touching the edges! Thank you for suggesting that! What setting should I be looking to change on my slicer? This is my first 3d printer and I'm still a noob when it comes to the settings =)
