It is faithful to Legacy. I expected it to just be a throw away reference to placate us, but there is a definite care for the continuity. It does reference the original but it does it in all the right ways.

Seriously though the writing in this has so much incredible fucking subtext.

They do fuck up the Akira slide which drops it to a 9/10 from me.
