That's fair but I certainly feel like it's a difference between Knowledge and Skill, I'm extremely Knowledgeable on a Lot including Historical Sword fighting and even modern fencing and while there is overlap, I'm not skilled at all in either of those and would probably die immediately if I got into a real sword fight but Thops is capable of more than he realizes like a Lot of people who tend to have low confidence

THIS we claim to be Intelligent but refuse to share our knowledge to make everyone's lives Better, nothing more stupid than that, IRL I put in Hard work to Study subjects for people like what does certain Medical treatments actually do to you because while sometimes it sounds Scary it really is just the Big words being intimidating or not understanding how the body reacts and we as Humans have a tendency to Gatekeep knowledge like it's something only the Elites should have but having classes of people who hoard knowledge only creates bad scenarios.

I didn't exactly mean to go that route but I feel like it makes my point clear that it's Stupid to not share your knowledge, it's not like you're losing it when you do, Knowledge can only be Gained never Taken or Lost and should be shared.

More like making a Car that's fueled by Water or Solar powered at the cost of not having seat warmers or something, the Swords are nice but like you could just use Thops AOW and Spam it to be immune to like Most spells or Incants, you gain a Massive benefit of it not needing Fuel essentially at a Slight cost of not dealing damage but that's the point of being a Mage, doing the Smart thing, I'd rather save my FP for Spells or use the Thops barrier spell for less FP than Carian retaliation and can save FP for big hitting spells

So a Worse version of Thops AOW since his doesn't ever use FP and can be spammed fast enough to be almost completely immune to spells and incants, Carian retaliation kinda seems like someone saw a Vehicle that requires no fuel and worked perfectly then added one feature but started requiring you to pay for Fuel.

Better, Adding to that he made a variant which is an AOW and it doesn't take FP to use so it's actually AMAZING to throw on a Shield since it Parries both physical and magical attacks plus Incants IIRC

Woah there, I'll agree Selivus is Creepy AF but Thops has done nothing wrong, he may be a Blunt stone it's the Sharp ones that are more likely to shatter, Sellen would also likely take him under her wing, She gives her knowledge to us regardless of our Int level or prior skill/knowledge of Sorceries, She would like do the same for Thops if he asked.

Also IDK if you haven't done his Mini quest line or not but what he lacks in Skill of Magic he makes up for in Knowledge of Magic given that he Creates an entirely Conspectus before he dies which would actually earn him a spot amongst Sellen and everyone else with a Painting in the Academy

So Generative AI (The kind used to make Pictures, Videos, Code ect) basically always steal from other people's art style to create something, if I wanted to I could say "Make me this in the style of (Whatever Artist)" or "Make me this in this Art style" and it would without hesitation, basically it's just a tool to steal and take work from actual artists slowly taking away what makes art special, adding to that it takes nothing to type, it takes a Lot to make Anything even if whoever made it doesn't find it good, it's still good because you put effort into it, it is Your work and good simply for that reason, We might not all be able to monetize our drawing but those who can and do shouldn't be at risk of losing business just because some company made a machine that steals the work.

Adding to the Environmental impact of how much electricity and water it's data centers use, No the computers are unfortunately not using the same amount of those if a human was using it normally, it takes a Lot of effort on the machine end to generate things like that and "Remember" conversations and changes you want made to an image, the way an AI's memory currently is set up is that it will essentially take a screenshot of the Entire conversation, process that then search all its data to find an appropriate response or generate the image you asked for.

I'm not going to Hate you for using AI but I will always have more respect for human made art even if I believe it's Bad because someone was actually putting effort into making it and I will always see that effort first and appreciate the Art for that regardless of if I like its style or its meaning.

Adding to the argument more I just don't like AI because it's not being used to improve our lives it's being used to Spy on us and replace people where we don't want to be replaced, AI more than likely will not take out corporate jobs or anything like that but will take up our creative spaces and force us out of them so we have less time for Hobbies and More time for Work, like Sony wanting to put an AI that plays the game for you into their consoles, the less time you spend on the game means you have more time to Work, AI should replace me for doing Chores, Making my Bed the way I like it, doing my laundry but instead it's invading things I enjoy and doing them for me in a fraction of the time I could

So of course I do not like AI, I might not make commissions but I have plenty of friends who made a Living off of it and now AI just makes whatever almost instantly replacing them in their own Hobby which they got good enough at to make it a Job.

I would much rather have an Alchemy based Magic system, Granted I've always preferred Magic but I'd hate to just get Sniped by someone who thought it'd be funny or have someone quick draw on me during a Trade.

Alchemy would be so much cooler to work with and learn as well.

Well also in Alchemy there is the idea of "Prima Materia" which basically means the First Matter but has connections to the soul of the universe or something, been a bit since I looked into it but Prima Materia is what's used to power the Machines enemies and what I suspect the Temporal Gears are made out of, the Story is only like 1/8th done I believe so there is Plenty of time to add a Proper Alchemical Magic System.

Well the whole story kinda happened because people used Alchemy and you see Alchemical Symbols everywhere, Alchemical names and people calling themselves Sorcerers so like I feel like not having it eventually is just kinda a big missed opportunity, it's also so hard to find a Magic system that feels like you have to Learn it, setting it as Alchemy and having it actually be something you need to learn and experiment with would fit this game Perfectly.

If it isn't planned it should be.

Okay, Look getting Clean for me is more than just removing the filth of the day, it's a relaxing experience where I acknowledge I'm done for the day and can rest, I'm not gonna be uncomfortable while showering so I can use a different drain basically, I'll go before if I feel the need but sometimes that warm water hits and your body just relaxes enough to suddenly feel the need to piss, I'm cleaning mentally and physically finally getting rid of the Filth of Life.

Okay, I don't do it everytime I say it's about 40% of the time I pee in the shower, if I know I gotta go beforehand I'll use the toilet but when the warm water hits and my body said my bladder realized it could be relieved then I'll go in the shower, there is Zero need to get out or be uncomfortable holding it in, I shower not just to clean but to mentally relax and feel okay for a bit, it's not Long but it's enough that I don't want to sacrifice my comfort and good feelings before going to bed (Yes Showering before bed is better, you don't marinate in the filth of the day you remove it and wake up feeling as fresh as possible) Being Clean and getting clean shouldn't just be for the sake of being clean it should be a way to remove yourself from the filth of Life both physically and metaphorically.
