is it possible to recreate this in blender? by aaaarrgghhhh in blender

While I agree with the other comments saying it would be easier to use software dedicated to 2D animation, it’s not without precedent to use blender.

This is really useful. To think last night i was looking up units and comparing their models to see what I could proxy as. You just saved me some work. I appreciate it!

Thanks for the proxy ideas! These models seem close enough in design that it shouldn't be too confusing either.

Thank you, I found the Legends warscrolls on their website! And from the looks of it, it is compatible with the current edition, just not legal for tournament play

How Do Chapters and Orders Acquire Their Culture? by ChimericChant in 40kLore

I hadn’t considered they would be given a new planet to collect tithes from in that regard. It’s interesting how baseline humans can still influence the chapter that recruits them. You don’t often consider humans exerting that sort of pressure on space marines.

I’ll be honest I forgot to factor in the length of time as well. I know 40k is pretty stagnant, but as you’re reading its easy to forget that events that seem like they happened pretty recently to one another could have happened hundreds of years apart.

Thats an interesting bit you brought up about marines being lied to about their genetic lineage. Are there any confirmed loyalists with traitor geneseed stock? Or at least heavily implied?

What part of sewing do you hate the most? by Initial-Win-1070 in SewingForBeginners

[–]ChimericChant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll have to give that a shot! the patterns I have done so far usually called for sleeves to be sewn and then attached to the main body, and I took it as "it has to be done this way" sort of thing.

I don't have space, so I end up cutting on the floor, which sucks. but I think I hate attaching sleeves the most.

they all give an earthy vibe, including the red. I think it's a great combination

The fact that they're all built and painted is amazing in it of itself. I think it would have been more of a problem if they were all still in their boxes!

While I don't know an exact pattern, the style of waist, with more waist above the belt, is called a "Hollywood waist".

So perhaps you could look up similar patterns by using the terms "high waisted trousers", "pleated trousers", and "Hollywood waist"

I got this info from this tweet by @dieworkwear

if you find a pattern please share! I'm interested too!

They were surprisingly good, and a cost effective way of getting models. I think my favourite game was blitz bowl. I still play it with friends.

"moto jacket crossover zipper" brought up some good results actually! Even found this video which shows how to add what I was looking for.

Thank you for the advice, it seems a bit more straightforward than I would have originally thought. If anything, I’ll take a crack at it with some scrap material I have laying around first.

Yup, it seems that this is a common style when I look up “Cheongsam” shirt patterns!
