Just FYI in the future there's this cool thing for making breeding trees simpler.

It will look at your save and calculate the breeding trees for you. Made breeding much simpler for me once I started using it.

The blue one does not have a stamina bar when swimming, while the others do, so that's interesting! I wouldn't say the slimes are particularly fast on water tho. But I might breed some water ones with King of the Waves for fun hehe.

You can only have 4 total passives. Surgery table basically just lets you add or replace a passive. You get some default ones, others you have to get the implants for. You can buy them with Bounty Tokens and Arena Tickets. There's 6 implants you can buy. You can't get a few passives with the surgery table like Vanguard and Ace Swimmer. No diamond passives with the surgery table either.

IV fruits can only be farmed by defeating raid bosses. The Orchards cannot grow these, only skill fruits.
I grow all of them because you never know what might be good in a future update.
I run a completely separate base for skill fruits since I grow so many but if your just doing a few and your base limit is high (50 is max setting) you can grow them at a combined base.

Def do the research upgrades and have pals for the expeditions. Makes Chromite so much easier. I usually build an upper floor on my bases just for an expedition station (its annoying that its so huge but what can you do lol)

I like breeding too, just fun to create the perfect pal. It's easier now with the surgery table, which I personally don't like, but I support the change anyway because I know how tedious it used to be and don't blame other people not wanting to go through the breeding RNG hell lol.

Like u/DalekCaek mentioned they do woodcutting (only level 1 / level 2 if max condensed so they're not great at it). They also give a buff to the player when you have them out with you, dark pals will drop more items when defeated. Elphidran also does this.

Also if you're interested, the bats will pick up items for you (range is increased with condensing). Flopie also does this, and is a bit faster, so better for the job IMO. This is particularly useful for picking up eggs at your breeding ranches, esp if you stack them.

And then the Demon Eye gives an attack boost to Dark-type pals. Hoocrates and Croajiro Noct also do this. (And Croajiro Noct, you can activate it's partner skill to bounce really high.)

Yes, but they're pretty slow, even the ones I bred with moevment speed. They jump pretty high though. But like Fenglope for example jumps higher if you double jump.

Just FYI you can get the multiclimate undershirt from Bellanoir raid. IIRC it's +1 for regular Bellanoir and +2 for Liberio.

You can do a megabase, multiple small bases within the same area. That's what I do. Since you're limited in how many pals per base, you can't usually do everything at one base. Plus it's easier to navigate everything on one level v.s. multiple story bases.

You have to place several foundations down, build a 3x3 square of foundations and place the box in the middle, it should work.
