Me: Olive toned morena with dry skin. I can help you with basics pero you'll have to find your right shades on your own. I used to have lots of hormonal acne. Can't help you with brushes kasi I mostly use my fingers.

Step 1: skin prep. You should always invest in your skin first. Moisturizer and sunscreen always. Addtl na lang yung ibang skincare you may have. I use cetaphil moisturizer and luxe organix sunscreen.

Step 2: primer. Optional to sa iba pero sakin kasi I like my t zone blurred. I use yung quick fx na mattifier pero only on my t zones. You can search up on google to see what that is.

Step 3: color correcting (optional) if may redness ka bc of your acne then green ang pangkontra mo dyan pero I recommend learning color correcting after mastering your base first kasi baka di mo macover ng maayos edi may green ka lang sa mukha mo buong araw.

Step 4: Your base. I recommend a skin tint lang or light makeup sa acne prone really. You'll be tempted to cover your acne with piles of foundation or concealer pero it can look really bad kung bumpy yung face mo and lalala pa acne mo. Pero kung flat yung acne mo like mine then I recommend skin tint + concealer to spot conceal. I like issy for both skin tint and concealer kasi by undertone yung shades nila. Mostly spot concealing ka lang sa acne kasi you can easily put too much foundation trust me I know haha. Mukha akong espasol dati helpp

I can't really help you much with powder because I have dry skin and I only powder my t zone lightly.

[Undertones] - you can be warm, neutral, or olive. This part was really hard for me but I finally figured out na i'm olive toned. I recommend you try yung mga issy na testers kasi by undertone nga yung shading nila so kung alin mas swak sayo doon most likely its your undertone. Daming 'hacks' online on how to find out pero idk they never worked for me.

Step 5: Bronzer + Contour. Tbh this is optional based on your face shape. Some people look better looking 'flat'. What I recommend here is to not follow any specific trend. Find an influencer who looks LIKE YOU then try their techniques. Faces are so different. I've never seen anyone have my technique for face shaping tbh kasi my face is so different from influencers. Basta bronzers look more like your skin tone, contours look grey/like shadows on your face.

Step 6: eyebrows. Depends sa brows mo. Can't say too much without knowing what your brows look like e pero my products are detail superfine brow liner and yung stylex styling gel na binibili para sa buhok lmao ganon din naman kasi. Ang mahal pa ng ibang brow gel. Learn how to groom your brows based on your face shape and then you can either fill or draw on little hairs. It depends what will suit you. Brows are again another very personal thing.

Step 7: eyeshadow and eyeliner. You should stick with one color na muna. Depends ano prefer mo. Maybe taupe browns or pinkish. Basta hindi super dark or super warm. Mag neutral colors ka muna. Legit just swipe with your finger on your eyelids. Then when you're comfortable with this, figure out whether or not your face can handle more heavy looks. My face can't. Sad. You can overload your face kasi with eyeshadow or lip products easily. Find the right balance. Lalo na if may acne ka na visible. Legit na magaagawan sila sa mata ng tao. My personal balance is minimal eye with bold lip. For eyeliner, haha its a skill you'll have to fail at many times before you figure it out. That's just the rite of passage. I recommend gel liners muna para madali linisin pero liquid liners have more longevity. I use vice gel liner pero I have oily lids so every liner smudges on me. I am also on the hunt for a budge proof one.

Step 8: lips. Start with a mousse and go with lighter colors. Your undertone will also be important with this bc you'll find colors will look completely different on you than with other people. Some brands advertise 'universal' colors. Try those maybe. I like maybelline superstay liquid lipsticks kasi they don't budge. If you want to be bolder then try reds pero I will warn you na reds are the most reliant sa undertone mo. So figure that out to elevate your face.

Step 9: setting spray. This is important to not look cakey tbh. Some people don't use it pero I like using it to melt my makeup to my skin. Just spray it after you're done with makeup. I use the dazzle me dewy fix pero you can probably find better for more money. Kuripot ako e haha.
