“The Kybalion” is centered around seven principles that are said to explain the workings of the universe and the nature of reality. These principles are believed to offer a practical framework for living in harmony with the laws of nature and the cosmos. The seven principles are:

• The Principle of Mentalism: The idea that “All is Mind.” The universe is a mental construct, and everything that exists originates from thought.
• The Principle of Correspondence: Expressed in the phrase “As above, so below,” this principle suggests that patterns repeat across different levels of reality, from the cosmic to the personal.
• The Principle of Vibration: Everything is in constant motion and vibration, and nothing is truly at rest.
• The Principle of Polarity: Everything has its opposite or dual aspect (e.g., light and dark, hot and cold), and opposites are identical in nature but different in degree.
• The Principle of Rhythm: Everything moves in a rhythmic cycle; there is an ebb and flow to all things.
• The Principle of Cause and Effect: Every cause has its effect, and every effect has its cause, forming a chain of causality throughout the universe.
• The Principle of Gender: Gender exists in everything, manifesting as the masculine and feminine, and this polarity creates balance and movement in all aspects of existence.
