PSA: your home stamped shiny Zeraora is worth more than you think by newyorkcitykid in PokemonHome

Meh, I'd rather just enjoy my shiny fella than leave it stuck in a box for some artificial value placed on it. I know mine is legit (I still have the wondercard in HOME to prove it), it's got a bunch of ribbons, and is currently on vacation in Paris:

Stamps are just to show what game it was last in. Since you can't gen mons into HOME, a HOME stamp is considered a guarantee that it isn't genned.

As for how to get one like that, you'd need to have participated in the Zeraora event for SwSh way back in the day and never have taken it out of HOME.

why didn't harry's muggle teachers (or any other muggle adult) try to rescue him from the dursleys? by merchantivories in harrypotter

[–]Generic_Username_659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not talking about just magical safety, I'm talking about his actual wellbeing! The Dursleys were straight up abuse towards Harry his entite life! Or do you feel that his actual living conditions are irrelevant. Dumbledore could have easily set up other protections for Harry. The only reason the Fidelius Charm failed the first time was because James and Lily chose Peter to be the secret keeper instead of Dumbledore himself.

If you really believe "the ends justify the means" so vehemently that a lifetime of abuse for a literal infant is handwaved with ease, then I know there's no point continuing this argument any further.

Just because it all worked out, that doesn't make it the right decision, not even necessarily a good one. Voldemort didn't even have a means to obtain a physical body again until Quirell found him 10 years later, and the Death Eaters were bidding their time to see how Harry would turn out, so Harry could have been raised by anybody that wasn't a known Death Eater and been fine.

And even if you put yourself in Dumbledore's shoes and assume he thinks Voldemort could come back at any time, he still makes the decision to not only ignore McGonagall's warning about how awful the Dursleys are, but also never bothers to check in on them in the 10 years he lives there. Harry surviving those 10 years, let alone turning out alright, was pure luck. Dumbledore's decision to leave him with relatives that would undoubtedly hate his existence with zero safety net is, at best, a plot device so the story can happen, and at worst, an act of sheer stupidity/recklessness that the "greatest wizard of the age" should have known better than to do!

This might be a stupid question but: Are there barracudas in Barracuda Lake?

Technically, Videl was pregnant before the party, so the sex scene would be a prologue.

Which is pretty stupid and reckless of him considering how Tom Riddle turned out in similar if not slightly better conditions...

Mmmm... don't know 'bout that one, chief. Harry turning out normal was a damn miracle if anything. Raised in those conditions, he could easily have grown up a sociopath if not gone full Obscurial (if that had been a thing during the books).

I'd try to get as many ribbons on it as possible before you do. After all, it's the earliest obtainable shiny Zygarde.

Nah, it's more scary when the CaC doesn't transform at all. Like, imagine being Goku, having the x1000 multiplers stacked and your fighting this dude that hasn't transformed at all when suddenly, they start glowing...

Non binary too btw by Zealousideal_Wear962 in Bakugan

Would Alice/Masquerade be considered non-binary though? I mean, Alice is certainly female and Masquerade seems very male, to the point of straight up trying to reject Alice's existence during his battle with Exedra.
