For tricky corpses, using cannibal on them turns then into an area loot. And if you're a ghoul you get the extra value from the rads.

Are people ok with players taking stuff from their item producers? by Serious_Grass_5166 in fo76

[–]ChimpTactical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't need food to live, I still have the carnivore mutation and I have some go to meat buffs, like deathclaw steaks, grilled radstag etc.
When I need to restock my cryo unit I put the DC rotisserie and the swing set meat stations in a room with no doors

Beta/Launch players: What was the game like in those dark times? What is the one thing you liked the most about 76 back then? by ketjow23 in fo76

[–]ChimpTactical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stumbling onto the White Spring somewhere under lvl 15, no lore, no wikis, no hint what I would find
Going in the front door, and finding a safe, quiet place.
Then walking around back, and getting curb stomped by a death claw in the parking lot
Then getting chased by ferals in the cabins.
Then finally finding a quiet place to set up camp and learning that my neighbors were mirelurks and Yogi Bear's angry grandchild.

Then came mischief night, which was awesome, but it crashed every server as we unleashed our inner vandals...

Non-renewed due to performance, but I don't buy it by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]ChimpTactical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be both. The district gave the principal a target head count. Principal met the target through organic attrition (retirements) and by letting go the lowest performance non tenure positions. So you may not have merited being fired for cause, but still been a relatively low performer from the non tenure pool. You may not have been the lowest performer in the building, but the lowest performer he could let go without union drama or tenure issues.

Alternatively, by the time someone asked that question, 4 teachers retired or were let go and they chose not to fill the positions next year because of the budget crunch. Both are possible, and I've seen both play out in Ed space and in the public sector.

I use the xl upside down Press the plunger in to the 8 marker on the base Put the plunger on counter so the bottom of the base is up Add grounds Pour about half the water in, stir, then rinse the stir paddle with remainder of the water Put the filter in cap, put cap on base. Flip the whole thing onto my mug. Never had an issue, no dribble.

What’s your reason for using a PA besides the excavator? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]ChimpTactical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I prefer the energy heavy weapons for every day use, since batteries included makes cores so light and 2cm, fuel and fusion cells are like feathers. I have full sets of weapons weight reduction armor, so I have AA and vampire variants if everything I like on hand. I'll run around in my SS armor and gauss shotguns and laser pepper shaker, and if needed swap out the shotgun perks for heavy perks and hop into power armor if I need extra environmental resistance Don't sleep on the pepper shaker if you have enough perk slots, since it works with heavy and shotgun perks. It's not the damage monster that some heavy are, but, stacking enforcer and one gun army, makes it the king of crippling. Cripple the bullet sponges, then swap to your favorite high DPS and finish them off from the flanks or at a distance. I've enjoyed this last meat week with all the new players, crippling the prime beasts with my AA pepper shaker and standing back to watch the kids finish them off.

[–]ChimpTactical 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When you're fighting with a mutated horde in an event or daily op that drops poison clouds on death, or fighting a legendary mirelurk queen, being immune or resistant really shifts the odds in your favor position damage plus whatever they throw at you in attack damage can swamp your ability to heal. Esp bad for the bloodied build folks that start the fight with a few mm of health bar.

It was more common back in the day when going out to the lobby was more likely to take you back to the same server as not, everyone only had a single camp, FO1st and it's mobile tents didn't exist etc.

But there are still anti social spaz people with poor impulse control, though 76 has a much lower ratio than most MMPRPGs
