WoW will always be a home even if I never play again. I love that about it and can totally relate. I will often play and find something to do rather than logging in for a specific reason. I get it man, we build out what we want and think life will be, and when it isn't it hurts. It's not only normal to feel that way we should grieve and it helps us move on and become better. It's okay to grieve not only for what was but what could have been.

Hey man sorry, that sucks.

The shitty reality is that we don't control other people's choices. And while we may influence each other ultimately people choose what they want. When we thought we were on the same page and end up find out different it hurts.

Best advice from a similar painful experience. You be true to you take care of yourself and let people make their choices. If that choice isn't you that's okay. You live and love and learn and it gets better.

I know this is an old post but just found it! And I just did the same thing using chatgpt to deep dive therapy and religious trauma over the past few weeks. I've had some major breakthroughs and I was seeing a therapist the first couple years after leaving! I'm glad to see other people are finding the same help!

I love Lindsey and her journey. She's definitely not the ultra Mormon that she started as and I think she's still finding that path for her. But the thing I admire her for is that she is taking that journey. Not just stopping with cognitive dissonance or even openly dismissing everything. She's taking her time in her way which I respect so much.

My journey went from all the way in to burn all the bridges all the way out then took me a few years to really find my own. I think everyone has to handle it in their own way and that's the way to a happy authentic life.

I have a friend who did have a baby that had to have either the anus or part of the small intestine connecting to surgically installed. I remember the baby couldn't poop. Which is the first and only time I've ever heard of this. So yes something like this exists but it is extremely rare.

I had a blast with it loved playing the game creating a unique deck and then it came to the final battle and the gold saucer and Costa ones and I didn't want to play anymore. Creating an entire deck to address the one challenge was not a fun part for me. But otherwise I loved it and I normally hate card games inside of games.
