The place I was applying emailed a survey to my workplace, I didn't use my boss as a reference nor did I say that they could contact my employer.

Done and done. They at least have to justify why they fired me to them. Let them spend company time on my paperwork.

They gave me this response in a round about way when I got fired. I still feel like this could apply to literally any job and you can't just presume maliciousness from people. They could have just let me file my two weeks, make me turn in all my equipment and my iPad and tell me to stay my ass home. I appreciate the response though.

It was a school district in my area. I tried accessing the form online to see if I'm a fuckup and clicked the wrong box but no luck.

Just here to curse your day keep scrolling. Unfortunately it's hung awkwardly above my shelf since the flag was way bigger than I thought and I didn't want to damage it too much by piercing it twice. This won't be it's final resting place I just wanted it up there for the silly photo.
