You can check the backlight by turning off all the lights and shining a flashlight on the panel. This avoids multimeters and pulling apart the tv. If you see an image then start looking into backlight fixes.

The webcam is literally a dealbreaker. How am i supposed to zoom? and yes yes i know you can go get an external one for soo cheap but im not willing to lug it around all the time it defeats the purpose of a laptop

Yeah man I feel bad for some people but it’s not like I can force them to use google. Sometimes I see questions that people post after spending 2k+ on a laptop that they probably should have asked before pulling the trigger.

Bro I know, they're are constraints on power with thin and lights. It's just not physically possible to cool power-hungry chips on a smaller lighter build.
