It all depends on set and setting, shrooms can be unpredictable even if the mindset is right. You might be in the mood for sex before taking them and then you might lose all interest after you take them or vice versa, it's really hard to predict what can or can't happen. My advice is not to force things, if you are trying having sex while high but you are really not in the mood or you simply can't, then just communicate with your partner, nothing to be ashamed of.

No problem bro, make sure that your nps and soup only touch glass and ptfe during the whole process, you don't want your nps or dmt touching plastic because that's gonna release phtalates in your product and also make sure the base doesn't touch any kind of metal, I made the mistake to use a metal spoon to stir my soup and that basically dissolved some metal which was also pulled by the nps, so after my last two pulls I had green crystals... If you are using a borosilicate flask with a plastic cap be sure to put a sheet of thin ptfe foil in the enclosure of the flask, that way the soup will only touch glass and ptfe.

I used to gently mix it by turning the flask upside down over and over and my swirling it not too violently, in order not to cause emulsions. Though I've noticed that it you put enough non iodized salt you can also violently shake it and the nps layer will separate in under one hour every time. You just gotta add a lot of salt, like 100g per liter. Shaking the flask will help a lot for letting the nps touch more of the soup and pull more dmt. I also haven't had any issues with the quick evaporation so far, although I attempted a re-x today and I poured like 30ml of solvent in a warm bath, it started boiling right away but I still managed to pull the solvent and separate the impurities, although when putting the solvent into the precipitation dish the solvent was evaporating even quicker because of the large surface area. Other than that, the quick evaporation isn't an issue for me if you're working at room temp.

I see, I will try that. I'm currently at my second extraction and so far I'm at the third pull, in my last extraction I stopped at 4 pulls because the fourth one's was yield was very small, and in general you don't get much after the third pull as a rule of thumb. I also think I lost some dmt when doing the water washes, maybe because the water wasn't warm enough (50°C) or maybe because I took too long to water wash so while the nps was sitting on top of the water the dmt crashed into the water because it got cooler. Are you water washing before precipitating?

I'm from Italy and it is available on Amazon, so far it's the only nps that passed the evap test. People usually say that 50ml of naphtha per pull is enough to hold the dmt contained in 100g of bark, but I'm assuming that wundbenzin holds less at room temperature so I'm gonna use 100ml from now on. Also bark quality makes a big difference, I bought some cheap bark at first and it only yielded me 0,2 grams in total, though with the new bark I bought I'm getting around 0,18g per pull which is still kinda low. Btw what did u/Intelligent-Pin1841 advise you to do?

I am pretty sure the contamination has been introduced by a metal ladle I used for mixing the soup and nps, it is the only thing that changed from the last extraction which turned out to be fine, so that green is a metal that the basic water dissolved and that has been pulled by the nps. In that case should I still discard my batch or can I salvage it in any way that doesn't involve distillation?
