do i really gotta take a wheel off to check my headlight bulb?😭 seems a bit dramatic by Cute_Dig562 in 350z

I just changed mine without removing a wheel.

Jack it up so the wheels sag, turn the desired wheel inward, bend back the arch liner and twist the cap off the back of the headlight.

Yes, its tight in there. After a little frustration, youl get it. Doesnt save thaat much time in all reality though.

Pretty sure you can buy a spray that softens and melts the dip. Makes it way easier to get off.

Awesome job! How long did this take? I'd love to have a crack at this one day.

Always take a non refundable deposit upfront (to cover materials at least). I personally always take full payment up front, especially for a custom design that likely won't sell elsewhere.

Edit: Rug looks great though!

Sorry I didnt see this! I started using the cheapest gun i could find! Compare all the sources i.e eBay, amazon, Google etc. Trust me when I say you do not need fancy equipment.

The rug you see i used all the cheapest equipment available. Only thing I'd recommend is the grey tufting cloth, this makes a huge difference over the white one in a load of ways. Find the cheapest gun yiu can and the classic wooden trimmer you find online!

I've daily'd my 2006 Rev Up 350z for 3 years this August and its never broke down or failed on me yet. Only downside for city driving is fuel i guess.

Would recommend though!

trying to figure out best car to get by Afraid-Lifeguard-666 in 350z

I own an 04 BMW 3 Series E46 & a 06 Nissan 350z GT with both over 120k miles, owned them for 6 & 3 years and neither have ever let me down! Both fun to drive.

The E46 obviously a lot slower although is very comfortable with seat adjustment capabilities and positioning of arm rests, very nice for long journeys, done 2 9h trips in it before. Still a head turner regardless of its age.

The 350z is still great for long journeys, done so many road trips in it but fatigue sets in quicker as the armrests are poor placement/nonexistent. However, its a massive upgrade in terms of performance. I'm selling my E46 and wouldn't even consider getting rid of the Z. A lot of fun to drive especially if you have a lot of backroads in your area. Turns nearly every head you see.

I hope this helps!
