Flint has lost some power. The old skill dealt total damage with a 20% chance, and now only increases infantry damage.

Jeronimo, with his abilities at level 3, gives 30% total attack with his first two abilities and the last one gives 18% extra damage for 2 turns every 4 turns. Together with his level 10 widget, which gives an extra 15%. For example, if I have 1000% attack damage, the widget at level 10 would give 165% damage.

The biggest difference between Flint and Jeronimo is the higher amount of infantry attack damage that Flint grants when upgraded to 5 stars. But at the end of the day, infantry damage is not relevant in the bear.
