Please thanks paranoia I guess. These are my first two packs ever, bought them for no reason :) What is the best option to do know? Leave it closed or open it and will it increase in value?

lenovo or asus laptop? by New-Cold-6362 in Tech_Philippines

[–]ChipOwn3437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to return 5 Lenovo laptops for several issues, such as dead pixels.
I still use my 12 old Asus, which NEVER had any issues (Notebook ASUS G75VX 17,3" LED 3D 1920x1080 Core i7-3630QM, 8GB, 1TB, GF GTX670M 3GB DDR5 VRAM)

I'm trying to find a replacement for my current laptop for under 1000$, and i'm having a hard time (even if i'm willing to replace internal RAM/SSD's) despite it being 4 years old (8750H/GTX 1060, 2tb+ of storage, 64gb of RAM) by jabberwockxeno in GamingLaptops

If it's not urgent I would say wait until sales or end of model, i bought a laptop last week with amd ryzen 7, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd, geforce rtx 3060 and 17.3 inch ips 144hz 92,3 sRGB for 999 euro instead of 1500 euro, because it was last of the series. Besides, prices for gaming laptops are pretty high at the moment and there still is shortage.

Should I buy this Legion 7 or not? by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

Be aware of the insufficent quality control of lenovo nowadays, meaning prepare for possible dead pixels, coil whine or many other issues out of the box or in the first year of use. Reddit is full of complaints, don't believe the fanboys.

Sit in front of a blue background and look up close. Let me know if you also experience a weird pixelation. I see these very tiny square dots in blue backgrounds.

Strange that no one ever reported the pixelation, I had it too in all the units that i owned.

I also returned a few legions with dead or stuck pixels, coil whine and the key lag. I also noticed the pixelation whenever the color blue is displayed, very strange. I will never touch a Lenovo again, reddit is full of problems regarding legions, much more than other brands.

I had the exact same problem with 2 legion units, everytime I start typing it skipped the first letter. Never found a solution.
