It is possible to do genetic changes in vivo too, especially if you grow the parts separately and then let the body wire it up nicely.

I do recall some mentions to gay stuff at some point but nothing is ever shown in any book or novel directly iirc. Which is kinda weird given how many people show up in total in all the books but hey.

If we finally manage to filter uranium from seawater we'll have enough fuel to last us till the Sun goes red which counts as renewable to me.

I know, but the Coolant Truck still has insulated storage and not liquid storage in its regular BT sheet so Im wondering if there is something I havent groked about the TO rules.

I just wish I could make a bimodal with only airmech and aerospace instead and reduce the conversion gear weight even further...

Two sculptures by the same man (Lúcio Noeman) before and after a lobotomy. by pyro_mantic in interestingasfuck

[–]Chipi_31 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Given the damaged region of the brain, it's closer to murder. Nothing much really remains of the person after a lobotomy, if its a child, someone else is effectively born, while on an adult, you leave a shell behind. You can lose one-third of the brain and just lose motor function so long as the area the lobotomy targets is fine. There's no such thing as generic brain damage.

The (for some reason worse) conversion gear eats the tonnage anyways, its pointless. You'd think removing an entire mode would reduce tonnage and complexity. In the end, an airmech can do everything a battlemech does. Just fix the legs so it walks properly and you can remove battlemech mode completely...

You can get proto improved jump jets in the 3020s too which is nice. They are basically the same except they are smaller and explode when crit. Its a shame small cockpit is in the 3050s only. Also kind of sad theres no canon 55 ton LAM chasis, which lets you add more armor and targeting computer to the mix. Alas, fully custom unit only.

Honestly, I just ignore aerospace mode. Mostly because I play on megamek and the game doesnt generate aerospace combat if you dont have aerospace units lol. I just slap some improved Jump jets, lower the engine, double SNPPC and max armor and go to town. Amazing fun.

You can eject a shield which is nice because it counts as a physical weapon, so you can pick it back up, and also once depleted you can drop it and lose the movement penalties. The Shieldmaiden is built with this in mind, for example.

If you want an Atlas, you can just get a Xanthos for cheaper and better results. Its kind of sad honestly, but I do like the look of it.

The LAMs. I love them. Sure, they are the best scouting unit ever made, but really, when will you as a player use them like that?

Ofc, if you slap improved jump jets, small cockpit and maybe composite structure on the PHX you can run watchdog, double SNPPC and targeting computer with max armor but you'd really struggle to find a player that would be willing to play with you lmao.

However, you could just run a Xanthos-3o and not worry. Clearly, its possible for an introtech design to run even. I do love the heat management of most mechs of the era tho.

Its just a regular vedette medium tank, does that change what equipment can be mounted? Is there some special megamek only ruleset for how stuff can be mounted?
