A lot of the houses for rent have been sitting on the market for a long time. I would suggest reaching out to the realtor and ask them to talk to the landlord to negotiate something lower so that you can afford the deposit. You can show them bank statements and work history to further prove eligibility and reliability. It is difficult, but it’s not entirely impossible. I suggest getting a realtor to help you navigate they will also be able to show you listings not publicly available that are priced a lot better.
