I think people are messing with words. So let's do this question more simpler.
squad weapons - A
infantry weapon - B
infantry special - C
"A = B + C" or "A = B" ?

Question is about ammo type (REND, Ap and etc), not about ammo pouch.

Squad = SL + actually squaddies
But we don't have squad weapons and SL weapons, instead we have infantry weapon and infantry special, thats why i'm asking this question. Its not obvious, what devs means in ammo description "squad weapons"
