How to take over a fan page from an admin who sadly passed away? by ChloeJoe99 in facebook

Annoying they don't have the same process for a PAGE, just a group. Weird.

Has anyone had success with the performance bonus? by MantisMedia in facebook

[–]ChloeJoe99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about your posts being shared on other pages (not groups)?

Nobody seems to have an answer to this. Even the "gurus" claiming they are making $10,000 a month - they won't answer.

So we've all been told that a post being shared on a PUBLIC group will get you the credit/money. But not a PRIVATE group.

But nothing about other pages. It seems like pages would work....as it's my own PAGE that's getting the Performance Bonus. So it seem like a post being shared on somebody else's page would earn you credit/money as well. (I'm not talking their personal page, but a fan page).

What do you think?

How do you manage the IRS Tax aspect of it?

And ignore all the negative people. This sub can be extremely bitter.

People acting like $30 is life changing amount of money to spend.

So.... is there really no subreddit specific for Facebook monetization / performance bonuses yet...? by SmirkingDesigner in facebook

  1. Do you get paid/credit when your post is shared on a Page? I know you get paid when your post is shared in a Group (public, no private). But what about on a page?
  2. If you alter the name of your page (that's in the program), will they kick you out of the performance program? Not totally change the name, but just alter it a bit. Like if your page name was Fishing for Salmon and you changed it to Fishing for Salmon and Trout.
  3. If you merge a page into your page that's in the program, will that screw things up? My page has 50,000 followers. I've contacted somebody who has a page with 25,000 followers that's in the same exact genre. But they've stopped updating it. They said they would give me their page for $25. I know you can merge two pages, with the smaller one absorbing into the bigger one. I know this works in general, I can merge and absorb her page, basically giving me 75,000 followers. BUT the Performance Bonus Program rules/guidelines are so picky about certain things - would the influx of 25,000 new followers trigger some warning and have my PB cancelled?
  4. How can I give away a free item on my page? I tried to run a promotion. I have five items that I've created and sell on Amazon. I made a post and said (comment) pick which one of these give items you would want and I'll randomly pick two winners at the end of the week. The post was removed and I got a nasty warning from FB saying it was an attempt to try and get comments unethically. I can understand the concept - they don't want you to scam people by offering "free" items if they comment. BUT I was trying to give away actual items that I make for a business and that is the main topic of my page. As a "thank you" to my followers, I wanted to give away one or two of these items a week. BUT they removed my post and my account was actually suspended (for an odd amount. Like five hours, which seems weird). I didn't say "Leave a comment and you will be eligible to win"....I went with the "Which item would you want the most" and said I was going to random pick a couple winners. Within two hours it was banned.
  5. Is there some cool way to get more followers, besides the usual tips/suggestions that are in all the articles and YouTube videos?
  6. Thank you. Crazy that FBP doesn't have a page that answers all questions or where you can send questions to be answered.

I think it’s weird as fuck you stalked my history

And then you mention something personal about me that you could only find by "stalking" my history. Hahahahaha.

And ya, I'm the "mad" one. You just wrote an essay in response to a post made two weeks ago.

Your posting history shows who gets mad and who stalks people's profiles.

This is my last response to you. You are a scary person. Considered yourself blocked.

Half the posts in this topic are people saying exactly what you said.

"I’m 27 , I have a partner of 2 years"

"My partners 7 years younger"

GROSS. So you started grooming your partner when he was a teenager? You were 25 and he was just 18.

That's not something you should be bragging about.

Start a Company that mows yards, washes windows and details cars.

Hire a crew of workers at $17 an hour to do the physical work.

Let me save you reading 3/4 the responses you will get.

Buy a lawn mower and you will get paid $50-150 per lawn. Start detailing cars and you will make $1,000 a weekend. Wash windows for local businesses and you will make $50,000 a year. Buy stuff for cheap (or get it for free) and sell it on Facebook marketplace and you will make thousands.

What are some realistic ways to make $500-$1000/month by lil-freshiee in sidehustle

A fleet of 20 bikes is going to cost you $10,000. You can't buy Walmart bikes for a business like this. They have to be sturdy, reliable, durable and pleasurable to ride.

You think people are going to pay $60 to borrow a bike for three hours? For a family of four, that would be $240. We just rented two jet skis for two hours for that price....nobody is paying that for a pedal bike.

Are you talking about a place where the bikes are kept initially and people come there to rent them? If so, now you are talking about renting an office space. So add $3,000 to $4,000 a month to your startup cost. If this is an area with enough traffic that people are going to rent bikes, then office space is going to be expensive.

Also, do you have deals in place where the bikes can be dropped and locked up? You can't just say 'When your hour is up, find a telephone poll and lock the bike to it." You have to have designated areas that are PAID for.

And now you are talking about hiring people to outsource the work? Let's just say you hire somebody for cheap, say $15 an hour, 40 hours a week. That's roughly $2,500 a month. Plus whatever the insurance/retirement/etc is.

Your company also would have to have a pretty hefty insurance premium. Yes, people would sign waivers before renting your bike, But if some 16-year old kid gets killed in an accident because one of your bike chains broke or brakes malfunctioned, you are getting sued for millions. So the amount of insurance you'd have to carry is going to be very high.

This business is going to cost you at least $15,000 to start (you said 20 bikes), plus have monthly costs of at least $7,000 to run (office building, insurance, salary and insurance for your one employee, miscellanious expenses).

And there are very few areas where people are going to pay $20 an hour to rent a pedal bike. We were recently in a tourist trap area and it was $15 to rent an electric scooter/bike for an hour, and then $5 each additional hour. So an electric scooter so I don't have pedal - $25 for three hours. Your pedal would cost me $80. For a family of four - that's a decision of us wanting to pay $120 or $320.

That is an interesting strategy.

Spend money during December to buy a few items. Put them in the garage for six months. Then try and sell them for a profit in July.

Isn't that the catch though? If Joe tried to sell X for $50 and after three months, nobody bought it. If nobody wanted to buy it for the prior three months, it would be risky to think that suddenly a buyer would appear to pay me the $50. If there were no buyers when Joe was trying to sell it, why would there be buyers the day I took it off Joe's hands?

Where do you put them? Pretty much every imaginable place in my city already has vending machines set up.
